Thanks for bringing us into your home. Such preparation, knowledge, with command of the techie stuff too. Brava Pip! May you get some more great sponsors because of your proven expertise.
Thanks for posting, Pip. You’ve got plenty on your plate already so I for one very much appreciate the effort. You’re in good company and it’s pretty clear that the weather routing is becoming an even bigger gamble than usual for everyone, a very complex set of problems indeed. Keep on keeping on, head up outside of the boat and hammer down as you always do. Cheers, R. 😎👍🍻🇬🇧
I suggest a rethink of the interior of these race boats to facilitate stacking and moving sails about. Think of flat ramps and chutes with tackle already rigged for cross ship and fore and aft moving
You are a legend….
Those sails are soo big, I thought I was going to pass out hoisting them and I’m 6ft6 and 260lbs…
Go Pip Go!! Looks like some crazy winds ahead of you!

Bravo Pipe . Go. Courage.
Love you Pip! Doing great. Those winds ahead of you look crazy. No straight line here.
Pip solves a problem on latest Transat summary. Surprise! And yes, “Paulie” is on duty.
So how long did it take?

I love the pulley system. What is the computer on your arm used for ?
It's the remote control for the auto pilot 😊
Moving sails to windward.
I wonder why not use gravity, let them slide down to lee before tacking?
