Your attitude about these breaks speaks of your character. You made the best of it. It's hard to have a bad time on the Rubicon! Next year we'll go at it again. And thank God for folks like Eric and Dolly; always helping out. 🤙🏻
Eric and Dolly were great. They wouldn't even leave us at the hotel until we had checked in and they were sure we had a place to stay. We came on this trip to enjoy the trail and meet new friends. That wouldn't have happened with a bad attitude.
To be honest, at first I wasn't sure i would enjoy this channel. Used to crazy aussies 4x4 in crazy overlander. After ep 1, I'm looking for to buy a 2002 tracker this week for pleasure.... You really swayed me to the smaller 4x4 side! 😂👍
@@trashpandaoffroad3548 my dad says he will probably watch those too and we are going to the rubicon one day in our XJ we don’t know when though and he’s excited to see your videos of the rubicon next year too
The Rubicon is definitely a bucket list trail. I am so glad I went. It is so much different from wheeling here in the PNW. Now that I have been I cant wait to go back.
Here is a question: Did any Tracker or Sidekick in your party make the entire trail without mechanical issues or the need for a tow or winch assist? If so, what modifications did the successful rigs have that credited their success on the Rubicon?
Not having much luck on your big adventures lately huh? Yeah, Eric and Dolly are super people. Most of the people i've met offroading have been. Glad you made it home safe.
Sometimes I dont always make the best choices. My wife's favorite quote of mine is "I really thought that was gonna work" This was a great group of people. They made us feel like we had been part of the group for years.
Right now I am thinking about leaving the Trash Panda alone for a bit and putting money into the Overland Geo. Want to go Toyota axles and the Trail Tough link kit.
@@trashpandaoffroad3548 oh damn! All said and done you're close to 10k on that one. I almost bought a 4 door that was all done up already, lockers, gears and all. I tell mysel it's the economy but if it had been a little closer, I probably would have bought it. And then throw in this tdi I'm building and that's a serious machine. 40mpg and goes anywhere.

Thanks. I appreciate the honesty. Glad you are enjoying it. Good luck with your search.
That Jeep that pulled you out is a straight up bro. I'd buy that guy a beer
Eric and Dolly are great people. We were able to buy them a meal but like great people do they refused anything else.
My dad and me have been watching all your Rubicon videos and we love them
Thanks so much. It was definitely an adventure. Stay tuned to the channel and you will see.my repair videos next. 😁😁

I was the only Tracker or Sidekick. Everyone else was in a Samurai. We did meet another tracker on the trail but it had Toyota axles and drivetrain.
Man that’s rough stuff🤦🏼♂️ at least it was a beautiful trip 🤙🏽 keep the videos coming love them all🤘🏽🤘🏽
Thanks for the love. The area around there really is a sight to see.

@@trashpandaoffroad3548 that so funny you say that, I was going to say that about them.
@@trashpandaoffroad3548 so if you do it again, which rig will you bring?

Good trip but Too difficult trail for GeoTracker ! Poor one !
Definitely need some upgrades before we try again.
that honestly looks like an awful track. constant rock garden and more blokes than empty space
When you describe it like that it does sound bad but I really want to go back. The first day was long but it was definitely an experience.
I really can't understand the meaning of life.
