I will always loved these talented gentlemen. Their both very laid back and funny. RIP Mr. George Harrison and Mr. John Lennon, your music lives on forever in my heart.
Ringo Starr is an amazing comedic talent. Always was. And an amazing drummer. The underestimated Beatle. Not much of a singer/songwriter in my opinion, but certainly a versatile and talented man.
I like what George said about John: "He knew who he was." unfortunately, he didn't know just how loved and respected he was. About the thing they said...about getting together, they were SO RIGHT. Had they all four gotten back togethre, for just one concert, they would never have been the Beatles....they would have been John Lennon, George Harrison, Ringo Starr and Paul MacCartney...four incredibly talented men, performing together. Am I wrong?
I agree with you George . We never met in this incarnation , i hope we do in the next, John too and you never know Ringo i could get to meet you in this one, Paul to, if i'm lucky.
thanks for this post. they are so funny together-or should i say 'were'- God bless George, i love his philosophical way about death. there's no beginning and no end. hope it's true.
i dont see how you think that George is pompous. i think he was very down to earth. he believes in being spiritual and that the spirit has no beginning and no end. and yes, i Ringo is definitely flying pretty high!!
yep. he time traveled to the 2000's just to watch it, return to the time when this interview took place, and referenced it hoping people watching in the future would understand.
+choff56 The 1980's was rough for Ringo. John's death and other factors really hit him hard. But he made it through and has been making some fine music like "Choose Love" and "Ringorama".
+Landrew120880 no , he was just an active alcoholic , it didn't matter what was going on . He made it through because now he is sober . And thats a good thing .
1:41 - did everyone miss that ???? Ringo quick statement " oh ....i"ve seen him twice " - those who scoff....will never understand....those who KNOW through experiences ......can certainly relate . THIS is NOT all folks .....focus on the creator and others ..not yourself.
Kinda ironic how Ringo has ended up doing a nostalgia act for the last 20 years... For a time, the X Beatles were so serious in wanting to distance themselves from their Beatles past. Paul n Ringo finally just gave in and embraced it, which is cool. Cant see JOL doing the same.
@deathmelon6789 I never thought about that- but I don't think George would joke about Lennon's death. I know he was upset with Paul's seemingly flippant first comment about Lennon's death, so I don't think he'd joke about it. Especially because both he and Ringo get very serious for a few moments after mentioning it compared to Ringo making jokes about a Beatles reunion, even though that was a semi serious topic at one point.
@JAARNO88, yes it's interesting; thanks for pointing that out. Made me look! Just a difference in personalities where u can tell that Ringo's more comfortable speaking in front of an audience; he enjoys the attention; yet George is very composed but seems tense. I don't think G ever enjoyed interviews as much, but Ringo thrives in that environment & he always manages to have a blast. I'm sure G was glad Ringo was there; they've always gotten along well w/ each other despite all the 60s madness.
No I don't think so. It's clear that he was expressing his hope, as we all did at the time, that it wasn't a serious injury. We remember how the news of the event came through, at first it wasn't reported that he'd been murdered, just a shooting but soon after they told us he had been killed.
When George is talking about playing together, he says it won't be The Beatles, but "three old guys called JOHN, Paul and Ringo"... He says John and nobody noticed it?
The more I hear, the more I feel George was a chump. Between acid and meditation, the guy was flip, unfeeling, detached and looked at everything as a joke. Meh.
Ringo has such a great sense of humour.
George was a genuinely great person
I will always loved these talented gentlemen. Their both very laid back and funny. RIP Mr. George Harrison and Mr. John Lennon, your music lives on forever in my heart.
Ringo was the greatest Thomas the Tank Engine narrator EVER.
Ringo Starr is an amazing comedic talent. Always was. And an amazing drummer. The underestimated Beatle. Not much of a singer/songwriter in my opinion, but certainly a versatile and talented man.
+billybagbom i love his singing
pgroove163 I think Ringo was the worst singer in the Beatles -- not great, but still really good.
The Beatles wouldn't be The Beatles without Ringo.
I like what George said about John: "He knew who he was." unfortunately, he didn't know just how loved and respected he was.
About the thing they said...about getting together, they were SO RIGHT. So cool! Both amazing, and funny people.
Ringo was the funniest, Paul the most creative, John the most original and George the most spiritual, as well as wisest
I have similar beliefs of death as George, it's not the end but simply the beginning of a new chapter. He was a beautiful soul.
I really enjoyed that. One of the best post Beatles interviews I've seen.
Thanks for uploading this. I cant get enough of the best band on Earth. I love to hear and learn and see anything about them.
ringo is a natural comedian
I agree with you George . We never met in this incarnation , i hope we do in the next, John too and you never know Ringo i could get to meet you in this one, Paul to, if i'm lucky.
Hehe, "Pfft, I couldn't get a job if I died." Ringo's so cute!
Will ALWAYS 💘LOVE JOHN PAUL GEORGE ♥AND RINGO.
John's spirit will never die ✌️❤️❤️
George: "You may hear three guys named George, Paul and Ringo sing a song together again"
Ringo: "I bet I don't get to sing"
Haha I laughed so hard!
4:47 Ringo says the punchline "I bet I don't get to sing."
i love george
I think Ringo's put something in his coffee.
+Leodhas77 lol
Drunk
Luv these guys😍😍😍😍
thanks for this post. they are so funny together-or should i say 'were'- God bless George, i love his philosophical way about death. there's no beginning and no end. hope it's true.

Great interview!!
Thanks for uploading this, this is amazinggg!!!
Thanks for posting.
i dont see how you think that George is pompous. i think he was very down to earth. he believes in being spiritual and that the spirit has no beginning and no end. and yes, i Ringo is definitely flying pretty high!!
I love george harrison, thank you cj pryes.
Love how they can just sit there and pull out a cigarette if they want to!
annabelle123dog yet another paranoid Trumpite... I hope your vices haven’t caught up with you just yet!
aspel asking Ringo if he could be an actor: His reply: I couldnt get a job if I died! hahahahahahhahahha he is so funny
Awwwww...Ringo is still so cute!
Thus is why Ringo is the funniest Beatles
yep. he time traveled to the 2000's just to watch it, return to the time when this interview took place, and referenced it hoping people watching in the future would understand.
So bittersweet
Ringo is loaded here
+choff56 The 1980's was rough for Ringo. John's death and other factors really hit him hard. But he made it through and has been making some fine music like "Choose Love" and "Ringorama".

choff56 I think u ought to take a chill pill. Of course I know Ringo is an alcoholic. That wasn't my point. Did you buy "Old Wave" in 1983?
He's always like that.
kong3 no he is not.
Thans for this Brill
Jerj looks so handsome
Not to mention the fact that he and Eric Idle were close friends
6:49 "If it had all not ever happened, what would you be now?"
1:41 - did everyone miss that ???? Ringo quick statement " oh ....i"ve seen him twice " - those who scoff....will never understand....those who KNOW through experiences ......can certainly relate . THIS is NOT all folks .....focus on the creator and others ..not yourself.
George Harrison (Liverpool, 25 de febrero de 1943-Los Ángeles, 29 de noviembre de 2001).
80 años
58 años
22 años
Kinda ironic how Ringo has ended up doing a nostalgia act for the last 20 years... For a time, the X Beatles were so serious in wanting to distance themselves from their Beatles past. Paul n Ringo finally just gave in and embraced it, which is cool. Cant see JOL doing the same.
Tip Top !

Ringo rings more truth than the metaphysic bull shit.
I am so sorry, George is mouthing off the media line and only one who rings true here is Ringo.
Jesse Akaike Really just different personalities more than anything.
It's the real Ringo
He sounds like the leader
@JAARNO88, yes it's interesting; thanks for pointing that out. Made me look! Life flows on within you and without you... Sound familiar?
At 4.57 George makes a mistake and says you might see 3 old guys called " John, Paul an Ringo" play, when he meant to say George, Paul and Ringo
Are you sure it was a mistake little lad?
Coolio George bless
Anyone else getting audio out of sync on this video?
Yes.
Yes, but love it just the same.
George was in life of brian, so you never know (I do doubt it though).
at 4:56 George actually calls himself John!
Yeah, he misspoke but everyone knew what he meant.
Within you and without you refrence
interesting body language between the two beatles.
@SIRHOPES your welcome!
3:20 hear George joke "Lira"
and then the anthology came with free as a bird and real love...crazy
"Just a flesh wound"... Monty Python reference? i mean, George did use dark humor at times so, it's possible.
aspel was great what happened to him??
No I don't think so. It's clear that he was expressing his hope, as we all did at the time, that it wasn't a serious injury. We remember how the news of the event came through, at first it wasn't reported that he'd been murdered, just a shooting but soon after they told us he had been killed.
Ringo was drunk at the time?
@MaxPower1414 holy shit. I just realized. D:
Why isn't it in sync? Someone should fix it...
If I was rich i'd probably just spend it like ringo, whats the point in just hoarding money?
Audio and video not in sync.
Ringo is a hoot. Great guy...he took a lot of abuse. George better? Hard to believe huh?
The Brits all about the money
why does ringo always wear shades?
cause he's ringo starr.
does nobody notice that ringo words don't match his lip motiions?
I like pudding.
I wish they were this comfortable for the anthology. They seemed bottled up then.
When George is talking about playing together, he says it won't be The Beatles, but "three old guys called JOHN, Paul and Ringo"... He says John and nobody noticed it?
Yeah, but because they all knew what he meant.
You have amazing powers of observation.
Come on. Just admit you know John was murdered.

The poor tape quality, the bad color...its like this was done a century ago and colorized badly.
The more I hear, the more I feel George was a chump. Between acid and meditation, the guy was flip, unfeeling, detached and looked at everything as a joke. Meh.
