- My heart is a suitcase, carefully packed. It's not heavy- most of the time- and I wouldn't call it 'baggage.' To me, this song is a reflection on how we carry love through the delicate threads of time and connection...
We can't truly hold on to people- no one really belongs to anyone else. But as I weave this tapestry of my life, I've come to realize that all the love I've grown and have been lucky enough to collect along the way is mine for the keeping...

Thank you William, your words always means so much to me… I’ve tried plenty of times to write something more light-hearted… (I’m remembering as I write this- this song specifically, was intended to be that way! It obviously took a turn somewhere haha). I don’t know… these songs give me more of a sense of solace and healing than anything else. They remind me that we aren’t alone. This is where I feel the most connected and… human♥️. x
Just stunned again. Lyrics on par with Dylan and Joni Mitchell, with the soft, quiet voice of an old soul knowing fully the pains and regrets of love lost…..amazing

Very nice. Love the arrangement, it's just right. As always, your picking pattern and voice are right on. I don't know how long it takes you to write lyrics, but these seem well thought-out. So nice.
Thank you for saying all of this- it really means so much… I am one of those people that has little notebooks everywhere and I write down lined here and there. Sometimes one line will become a song, and it will all come within a matter of hours (as was the case for this song)- sometimes it will take a year or more before a song finally feels right. It’s a bit of a waiting game 😊. This song was supposed to be a light-hearted, simple tune, but I guess it had other plans? 😂

@@kellimoyle I realized I had one of your tunes on an old playlist from ten years ago. You vanished and just came back after all those years? I remember the first time I heard you now. I'm generally into really heavy metal and alt rock but your voice and style really relaxed me so id always listen to you and a select few other folk/ alt acoustic bluesy bands to fall asleep to. I didnt know I was a fan 10 years ago or more. Really dig these originals your starting to do more of. Keep them coming. Nothing beats your originals. You should cover gypsy Stevie nicks Fleetwood Mac.

@@kellimoyle really? That would be so cool to hear. I'm into everything. I just listen to alot of metal but that's 50% of what I listen to. I'm really into middle eastern music with sitar and dead can dance,days of the new/Travis Meeks. He actually posted your song on Facebook, but yea I dig all music but rap,hair metal, modern country, modern pop and emo. I like to listen to folk and middle eastern ethnic like music before I sleep. Metal can get to be too dark if you listen to too much all day. Ready for your next original. It calms my panic disorder down. My wife might be sick with somthing bad and I loose my mind but your music helps me deal alot. Thanks as always. ☺🍁🍂🌲☘

I am more than hesitant to write this for a myriad of reasons. One of which being that if said to me I’m unsure how I’d feel about it.
But I feel compelled beyond what I can resist to say it.
If ever I have seen the amount of pain I feel inside expressed on the face of another person before, I am unaware of it.
It is my highest hope that saying the above does not hurt you in anyway. I actually have no motives at all in what I wrote. I only wrote it because it’s what I’ve seen in your face before now also. In some way I guess it could be said I’m sharing a moment or something I’m seeing and feeling. I struggle to articulate precisely what I mean in most all cases so please keep that in mind. However I do fear the worst case scenario of saying such a thing could result in more than a few bad things. On the other hand I see the possibility of the good that might come of it. But I don’t know.
Perhaps, whoever you are or whatever it is you feel and or are going through; maybe all of the above expressed might serve to make one feel less alone? I don’t know. And the more I write the more I question whether or not I should say anything at all. It’s just the case that the moments I personally have experienced in seeing what I perceive in your eyes has been a profound experience as strange as that might sound.
I hope and pray all is well and that nothing I’ve said is either embarrassing or saddening to you or anyone.
I just couldn’t help but write my thoughts as I saw them.

@@ryanlemons7831 I appreciate you Ryan, and this doesn’t offend, hurt, or embarrass me at all :) I am just a person with big feelings I think? For as long as I can remember, I’ve been sensitive to everyone else’s feelings too. They are easy for me to pick up on maybe… it’s not so much sadness, or at least not just sadness, as it is feeling deeply. I feel like sometimes it’s necessary and even healing to sit with the pain and find some kind of beauty to pull out of the darkness… for me these songs are also a release and a way of letting go. It’s a little like magic in that way☺️.

I was very worried after writing it that I had either failed epically to articulate with full clarity within the context I intended to express; or that I had super ultra misinterpreted. You know how it is as an audience member observing the artistic expression (perhaps vulnerable artistic expressions) of a person one doesn’t know in anyway at all whatsoever the sort of perceptions or misperceptions a person can experience. So what I said certainly was something I was quite concerned about how it might would be received. I’m very glad that my comment wasn’t taken badly.
I get the feeling you know fully where I was coming from and I’m very relieved on that.
I have a lot more to say and well deserved compliments to give but my brain isn’t minding and my mind isn’t braining well this evening. It’s along with my body is currently maxed out from Today’s wild full throttle work day and Texas heat.
I do have to say though we have had the most amazingly beautiful big cotton balls in the sky white fluffy magical picture perfect clouds and blue skies the last few days that have for brief moments had me in awe. Come to think of it; admiring them clouds briefly has been the first in many many weeks a stop and smell roses sort of thing. It’s little things like that that sometimes can snap a person out of it for a bit to remember that “wow God’s creation is a pretty wondrous place”.
