Not bad for the money! Would be interested in seeing its guts and to see if noise is still present outside at the picnic table. Radio did sound good and from what was seen, the display was large and the orange backlight is a plus, especially for those of us with not so perfect eyeballs. I did try it outside and it still had noise on the AM band but the Sangean did not. I do like the radios big backlit display. We will see if I crack this one open of not. Radios with dynamo’s are sometimes a pain to get back together. Thanks for watching. 👍❤️📻
Thanks never used it until now we are out of power. Somebody pack our bags without the instructions. Thanks we didn't know this radio had all these features. The have a newer model that lifts the solar panel please do a video for that one. As far as the solos I think that is a good change to lift it so it can tilt to the sun. The current solar panel does not work well Had it sitting in the sun for 8 hours we got about 15 minutes. . Thanks again were are in the Cleveland,Ohio storm waiting on power should get to our street in the next few days. That noise on the AM dial can be resolved if you turn it . We have it hanging on a door knob so it's tilted with the antenna open my channels are all clear. Thanks again for the review. I am using this radio from August 24,2023 during the storm and still using it waiting on power should be August 30,2023. I'm glad we purchased it in our emergency kit.

A lot of these newer DSP radios tend to fall short on AM, especially at higher frequencies. I experienced a couple of them like that. Otherwise, this MAKSH emergency radio doesn't seem bad for the price. Have a good weekend.
Seems that these chip radios have the tendency to be somewhat noisy to a degree on AM. The FM and radios equipped with the weather band like this and the EZBNB radios are pretty good. I like the idea of multiple power choices which could be beneficial in an emergency..

I like the weather alert feature, nice little radio for camping.

I have noticed that the DSP chip radios are hit or miss. This one has some kind of internal noise. Thanks for watching. 👍❤️📻
