in the new update you can now use a shovel on dirt to make a pathway so theoretically if you just play this a little bit versions later you probably would’ve been able to make the best base

I know I'm nine months late but here's a suggestion for the next hide or hunt if you find a base at the very beginning dig about 20 blocks away and place your beacon that would be amazing it's risky but I would go for it
So... Every 6 months or so this comes up in my "recommended next" videos and I ALWAYS click through and watch again because this is one of my favorite Hide-or-Hunt games ever!

Make a base under an admin base and use the same entrance so if people see you go in then they will check and it will just be the admin base.
you have to be lucky to find one really early but otherwise it would work

Just a tip going forward, an iron axe does the same amount of damage as an axe, there is no point in wasting diamonds. Just make armor or something
