The pantry is something I have been dreading organizing because it s space that will causes a huge mess in order to organize the space. Let me tell you its so worth the messy disaster to clean it all up and organize it. I can find my food now and it feels nice to open the door and see it all clean and organized. You can do this too, I promise its so worth doing it.

Well done Emily! My mom has same type of pantry like yours and same style shelves, and when I visited her this summer I built her few skinny shelves and put them standing on existing shelves (I didn’t want put more holes in the wall) and put all of her cans there. It freed some space on big shelves.

its fits a good amount but you loose alot with it also. If you can get an actually walkin longer one or a wall pantry

The pantry is such eye candy now😍 I would get so excited every time I open it lol. I recently bought 6 sets (for myself and some for gifts) of those clear handle airtight containers on black Friday at Walmart 10 for $25. It was such a great deal!! I just wish I had a walk-in pantry to display them😕

I love my pantry! I have a glass front on purpose so I’d have to keep it clean n pretty. I have signs n pictures on every shelf. Yours looks great! Feels so good after it’s done!

I just recently bought those ½ and 1 gallon jars from world market. I didn't realize the silicone seal doesn't suction in place which I'm super bummed about☹ have you noticed they work well? Does it go stale or little bugs get into them without the suction?

Your very well-organized pantry is worth all the time and energy you put into it. I really like the extra stock at the very bottom - easy to get to when needed, not forgotten, and not on the more easily-accessed shelving that holds the items used more often.

I did the same with my pantry but I also cut the directions and nutritional information off of the packaging and put into a 1/2" binder. That way if someone else wants to make pancakes or rice its right there. I just love my organized pantry, I don't over buy anymore!

Same . I buy little round labels , write in the expiration date and put them on the bottom of the jars.
I have a very tiny pantry. It's actually probably supposed to be a linen supply closet. I take a Sharpie and write it on the lid/front. The eyes wish no issues where there's dates, so I make them big!

Pantry looks great..... just a little tip I do when it comes to my home preserved foods in mason jars..... I don’t stack mine...... it can eventually break the seal of the jar under it and ruin that food...... not trying to be critical but I have had food spoil like that.....☺️

I watched your video again and I have a question what size are the containers you have your dates in? They look like the perfect size for my small pantry because my shelves are not very high between each.

As a teacher, spelling, grammar and punctuation mistakes drive me nuts! My husband just rolls his eyes when I point out mistakes in restaurant menus. 🤪
I totally agree about leaving pasta in their containers. looks great.
They develop little bugs in them if they're left in the boxes🤢 why I recently bought airtight containers for them
One thing that I do is leave them in the boxes but stuff a quart /gallon size storage bag either around it or inside. Then also if it is getting to like the last serving, I tear/cut the label from the box and enclose inside ALONG with the expiration date.

I have a narrow pantry which is really a full-length kitchen cabinet, about 30" deep, and things tend to get lost at the back. Do you have some ideas for organizing a pantry like that?? (BTW, it's raisins.) ;-)
You did a fantastic job!!! You have so many groceries!!! The one tip I have is to rotate your new items to the back , so you use the old stuff first.
Looks fantastic!! I have a similar pantry. I LOVE lazy susans in the corners (one has my small appliances & now I can reach each of them without moving others). Also use lazy susans for oils & liquids for the same reason. Nice job Emily! Love your home in the woods 💕💕💕

I agree leaving pasta in the box. I do the same thing. Your pantry look amazing. You did good job. Questions: Where did you get your container from the one with tight Seal? Thanks for sharing your ideas and home with us.
Love, love, love it all. My only comment re: pasta boxes and cake mixes, etc - I store them face down (stacked up 3-4 four high) so I can readily see what types I have and they're easily pulled out of the stack. You coukd also use those wire baskets that slide onto the shelf above the cake mix stack for the small boxes of puddings and jello etc.
I bought some plastic containers with lids from the dollar store.. I did that just too see if they would keep my products fresh and they did, the lids came in green&blue lids so if you didn’t like those colors you could paint them.. I love those containers you labeled first they are gorgeous and they look like they are good quality. Your pantry looks Amazing.. I was bragging on you to my husband. I told him that I’ve never seen a woman who could out do a man on most anything that she sets her mind too and that’s you my friend.. You are simply Amazing at everything you do....

It looks amazing! The only thing I wouldn't like is that because you have thrown out all of the packaging, you don't know when things expire. Maybe you could use a dry erase marker on the back of some of the containers and write the expiration dates and then change the dates as you replenish the items.

Emily I saw you have a lot of lentils...I bought a bag of them to try but I'm not sure how to cook them. Can you give me ideas on how you cook them for your family? Pantry looks sooooo good!!!!
I had heard that the plastic containers with the clip on top ends up cracking and breaking off. I personal do not like plastic. I use all glass in my pantry. They are easy to wash in the dishwasher and they don't crack or look cloudy over time. Just my opinion.

Best can storage and something I use in my pantry are the fridge can holders from DollarTree. They are great for canned soup, pasta and vegetables, made som much more room in my pantry!

Looks great! I have the clear containers with the latch at top. I LOVE these. I got mine at Walmart and i have seen them at TJ. I have a small space and they stack game changer for me.

Cake pans from dollar tree work better than pie plates for diy lazy susan. The taller up & down sides help keep items in better.

one thing I like to do is when I place baking soda, and corn starch in a container, I write the expiration date on the jar, when they are out of date and you use them, they will ruin you bake goods. I leave my baking powder in the can it comes in but i still like to put the date on the lid. the dates are on the bottom of their containers, and we don't think to check it when we are baking. if it's on the lid or jar you will see it better.
I want to live in a world where I have so many mangoes I need to label a bin for them!
Does this Cricut Joy only use an IPhone? Or can you use an Android too?
I think that risers for can goods make better sense cause you can see the name of the item and see how many you have. Putting them in bins makes it hard to see what you have and how much.

Hi there .I always put the “use by”date on the under side of the lid (I just cut around and stick to the lid with I little tape ).that way I know it’s safe to use and not out of date .👍🏻

I love the organization idea! Thank you for sharing where to buy those airtight glass jars! I've also been looking for those coz the one I bought from TJ Maxx doesn't have silicon/rubber. Didn't know until I got home and removed the seal so I was very disappointed.
