Well, the entire game basically shows something messing with their programing and making their emotions heightened. Roxy should be encouraging and loving of herself and therefore helps others do the same in order to boost their self-confidence and sef-esteem. Now due to her heightened programing, she is egotistical and far more violent and self-absorbed. Monty probably is the rocker on a tamer level, showing a rocker charm, meant to show the kids what a true Glamrock can do. But now he is TOO into it, destroying things due to his personality being far too much to handle and the idea of destroying and being the "punk" of the band. Chica LOVES food, enjoys it, and probably was made to teach kids how to enjoy their food, cookie, prepare, and even show her favorite sweets. But now she is gluttonous and eats ANYTHING, even TRASH. Freddy is Freddy. These characters as this scene shows here were probably loveable and so kind and gentle to the kids. But thanks to potentially the Mimic or the virus overtaking their programming, they're far more aggressive than needed to.

Roxy has a big ego and considers herself to be the best, so to praise a kid in any fashion, like calling them #1, is a big thing from her. I haven't seen anything from the ruin DLC besides this and a few animations, and it's nice to see the franchise characters given personality and meaningfulness. The community gave FNAF characters their charm, and it's paying off as they take a new turn.

From a gameplay perspective her eyes do nothing but give you collectibles, and from a story perspective Ruin suggests that the canon ending is the Princess Quest ending, which means Roxy's eyes don't help Gregory or Freddy in any way. He just seemingly destroys her just because he can, which is extremely heartless when taking in the consideration that Freddy specifically tells him to not hurt the other animatronics because they are Freddy's friends.
I have a theory that when security breach happened the security program enhanced her ego to bring out the less friendly part of her, this is the true color of Roxy I believe and it’s beautiful
that might be true! i saw someone talking about the book Tales from the Pizzaplex, and the Mimic is introduced there. He kind of has a separate system/programming that infected the whole pizzaplex and changed the animatronics' personalities, intensifying the bad parts of them, like the ego of Roxy.

I have a theory that since "security breach" Roxy was never controlled by vanny, since she apparently only follows the order entrusted to her, while Chica and Monty seemed out of control in their actions, But Roxy before the accident in the Karts she wanted to catch Gregory, but after he ran over her with the kart and take out her eyes you see a change from wanting to catch him to killing him, and when she catches Cassy she yells at her to give her back her eyes instead of killing her like any other animatronic would, also that knowing that it was not Gregory she released her showing that she is aware and is not being controlled when she trys to apologize

If its true that Cassie's dad is the one who designed and created the Glamrock Animatronics, then there might be a chance that Roxy can be completely repaired by Cassie's father if Cassie and Roxy actually do manage to escape the pizzaplex together.

So basically they are both dead, so if they are both dead then who designed the Glamrock Animatronics? Fazbear Entertainment that owns the Pizzaplex, they probably managed to get blueprints from Henry and William which gave them an Idea on how to design animatronics, and notice how the Animatronics are not really possessed in Security Breach by dead children, they are hunting you because of a Virus that Vanny uploaded into their system, meaning that they are completely AI robots, which shows that Fazbear Entertainment designed their animatronics differently than how William and Henry originally designed it, meaning that Henry was never the one the design the animatronics. Plus he never could because he died way before Glamrock Animatronics were even created. And Cassie mentions that her father had a similar Faz-Wrench proving that Cassie's father works as a technician at the Pizzaplex, so while maybe he wasn't the one to directly create the animatronics, he has some knowledge on how he might repair them considering that he is a technician. And Henry is definitely not Cassie's father because Henry committed suicide in the fire because of the loss of his daughter. So if Cassie is Henry's daughter as you say, then why would Henry kill himself when he still has a child to raise? 😁
I honestly felt this was so much more impactful then Freddy and his superstar line in the og game. I like his character but this had some substance about it. It was a choice to let her peacefully. She talked about tangible things she liked about Cassie and showed that she cared. It really felt so much more fleshed out since we know Cassie’s favourite character was Roxy. I have to say that the dlc proved to me that with time, they could develop a proper narrative. It also showed how rushed the initial game was.

The way the animators made cassies hands gently thumbing roxys is a small detail that seemed to add such a woeful gravity to this scene. Shes comforting her. Despite being a child. Or just... comforting herself by holding the hand of something she trusts.

What’s even sadder is that you can see the sadness gesture in Roxy’s green face. Which makes this even more sad
If its true that Cassie's dad is the one who designed and created the Glamrock Animatronics, then there might be a chance that Roxy can be completely repaired by Cassie's father if Cassie and Roxy actually do manage to escape the pizzaplex together.

@1500tray Wellllll- William Afton Is too busy rotting in an endless hell which is Ultimate Custom night or he is too busy being in the digital realm. And Henry killed himself in the fire. So basically they are both dead, so if they are both dead then who designed the Glamrock Animatronics? Fazbear Entertainment that owns the Pizzaplex, they probably managed to get blueprints from Henry and William which gave them an Idea on how to design animatronics, and notice how the Animatronics are not really possessed in Security Breach by dead children, they are hunting you because of a Virus that Vanny uploaded into their system, meaning that they are completely AI robots, which shows that Fazbear Entertainment designed their animatronics differently than how William and Henry originally designed it, meaning that Henry was never the one the design the animatronics. Plus he never could because he died way before Glamrock Animatronics were even created. And Cassie mentions that her father had a similar Faz-Wrench proving that Cassie's father works as a technician at the Pizzaplex, so while maybe he wasn't the one to directly create the animatronics, he has some knowledge on how he might repair them considering that he is a technician. And Henry is definitely not Cassie's father because Henry committed suicide in the fire because of the loss of his daughter. So if Cassie is Henry's daughter as you say, then why would Henry kill himself when he still has a child to raise? 😁

I honestly felt this was so much more impactful then Freddy and his superstar line in the og game. I like his character but this had some substance about it. It was a choice to let her peacefully. She talked about tangible things she liked about Cassie and showed that she cared. It really felt so much more fleshed out since we know Cassie’s favourite character was Roxy. I have to say that the dlc proved to me that with time, they could develop a proper narrative. It also showed how rushed the initial game was.

My theory: When Cassie went in the ruins of the pizzaplex, it was her birthday.
To anyone wondering Cassie didn't kill Roxy she rebooted her, and she didn't WANT to do it she thought deactivation was best because she couldn't do anything for her. And- yknow 'Gregory' told her to. Luckily Roxy truly is the best, and comes back 💜aaaaand Cassie is like 12 and as smart as she is she's not smart enough to shut these guys down. Only wet floor bots

This scene actually made me sad because of the bond the two of them had in the past 😭
The way the animators made cassies hands gently thumbing roxys is a small detail that seemed to add such a woeful gravity to this scene. Shes comforting her. Despite being a child. Or just... comforting herself by holding the hand of something she trusts.
They really need to update this DLC and put in an ending where Roxy doesn't die on us...
