The Nemean (nuh-mee-yun) Lion is the lion Hercules kills with his bare hands. Because its golden fur was impervious to attack, it could not be killed with regular human weapons. Its claws were sharper than swords and could destroy any strong armor.

I have BIRTH OF VENUS and I absolutely love it 💯.
I've only recently become a "frag head" over the last couple months or so. I think Argos is possibly my favorite niche fragrance house already, but I haven't actually bought anything from Parfums de Marly or Creed yet. My favorite designer fragrance house is Louis Vuitton, though. I LOVE going to their store and trying out the fragrances!
One of my first niche fragrance house experiences was with the Argos sample pack, and I still love it. My strategy was to just go through the sample pack and pick my favorite, and order a big bottle of that. I ended up ordering Bacio Immortale, not knowing it was so similar to Tom Ford Tuscan Leather (not that that takes anything away from Bacio Immortale).
That's still the only full bottle I've bought from Argos so far. I got samples of Thrill of the Chase (I forget the name but that's the English translation) and Love Triumphs over War.
Louis Vuitton has a huge advantage, because I can go to the store and sample the fragrances to my heart's content, and they have given me free samples when I've made purchases there. I also love how they refill the 100 and 200 ml bottles there, for a discounted price. I could get my 100 ml Pacific Chill refilled there for cheaper than buying a new bottle of Argos or other comparable fragrance. I also love how they've basically eliminated "blind buying", by giving you a sample bottle when you order a full bottle. The idea is that you can try the sample and send back the full unopened bottle for a refund, and try a different fragrance.
Sorry for the long comment. I still think Argos has some of the best looking fragrance bottles, and I love their actual fragrances. I still want to try Nemean Lion and the Extrait version of Triumph of Bacchus.
Argos is my favorite niche fragrance house then Parfums de Marly and then Amouage. In that order only because I like everything from Argos and PDM but I only like some of Amouage colognes. A few are a bit off putting and can be a bit too middle eastern arm pit smelling to wear 😂

Fragrances by their esoteric nature- scent sense- are a challenge to convey using mere words. How to verbalize an odor no one has ever smelled before is the problem. My compliment is this: You do that wonderfully with such open, honest, sincerity, a deficiency of words, and non verbals that it is extremely compelling. Thanks for the 10% savings. Two thumbs way up!

Any man who'd consider a sweetie perfume should deff get their nose on it! But obviously everyones tastes and insecurities are different. It's almost like whether or not a guy has pink in his wardrobe. It's my favorite fragrance from Argos so far!
I am a sucker for mythology and name and packaging. I just feel like some names sound so foolish And even if it smells good it’s uninspiring if the name is bad. Now if someone asks me what I’m wearing and I get to say Birth of Venus then that’s a bonus for me! Nemean Lion is horrible, in my opinion. It's very fecal, which they were trying not to say. Even being a niche lover, I couldn't imagine wearing it around other people. The rest of the line in great though.
