If the Global tournament didn’t perform great as it did I would have been worried that the man in suits would’ve seen that and decide to scale back on competitive but I think Fortnite competitive is still alive and this tournament proved that

Yea absolutely. If you want to play play consistently you have to pull zone or drop mid map. The best example are savage and vadeal. They pull zones: 1. Place. They have the worst zones possible: somewhere top 30

Isn‘t it technically possible to run LAN events on 0 Ping with creating an own server?
They were on 0 ping, the lag was likely coming from the 20 observers in the games. Idk but theoretically an own server would make a huge difference.

i think the reason controller player such as mero, reet and ritualx did so good was bc of lag and just spraying seemed op. But still, that does not take away from their good performance.
