RUclips isn't fair at all. They delete accounts due to "hate speech" when they also put up videos that show a lot of hate speech not only in the video, but the comments under the videos are full of name calling and hate speech. They encourage it, then they attack and I do mean ATTACK users for simply replying to the haters. They must be far right wing republicans. The next time I chat with a Google employee I intend to talk to them about this horrible practice that the administrators of RUclips keep doing to people. They are the haters.
@@sirensatnight4463 If Google is suspending or deleting accounts because someone flags a comment, they should at least let the user know which comment or comments were flagged instead of "go read our guidelines and try to guess". So they are playing accuser, judge AND jury without even saying specifically what a user is being accused of? Not only does their user not get to face their accuser, but they also are not even informed of what they're being accused of! The user just gets "here's a list of possible accusations, you figure out what we might be accusing you of". Google could just suspend uploading privileges or the ability to comment, but they instead deny access to the entire account including all of the user's preferences, subscriptions, playlists, etc... Imagine having posted, stored, cataloged and shared years of family videos, and having all that taken away from you just because you made a sarcastic joke similar to what Jimmy Kimmel or Stephen Colbert does on a nightly basis? Someone needs to form a class action against Google to get this unnecessary punitive behaviour stopped. As I said, they can just tell a user: "Hey, we have received a complaint about this video/comment, please delete it" and that would be the end of most of the problems, instead, they harm their user, many of which are wrongly accused, innocent, or just a bit careless.

They (RUclips admins) suddenly ban people for life for no good reason, and hold onto their content, only people can't log back in to add or delete their content. @@sirensatnight4463 It's unconscionable that Google has some AI bot suspend and delete accounts and thus taking everything a user has done on RUclips (sometimes years of work, or memories), and they don't even tell the user why. No warnings, nothing. They just send a link to their "user guidelines" and say "read and guess". Someone needs to speak up for the rights of the users, or perhaps create a competitor. I'm paying for Google services, but am thinking of switching to the Apple ecosystem because it appears that Google doesn't care about their average user, and is just leveraging off their monopoly positions.
I was devastated when i found out my yt channel are gone 😭. I've neither made any vid to be viewed in public nor do I want any subscribers as I only create that channel in order to make my interview vids. We should have the right to save our own playlists, etc before they disengage accounts without notice or reason. Class action lawsuit might straighten out their prejudiced moderators. I had mine deleted because I didn't care for their political choice for president.

Being banned for a comment! I think there should be a warning to enable a change of attitude as losing ones community is like death. Not having been sent an email makes it seem like this was simply personal and someone just did not like me and hit the delete button before they went for a cup of tea. RUclips does not understand that a person can change in order to progress. I thought that was part of the reason we are here, to create a better world through pulling each other up regardless.
The same thing happened with me, except I was permanently banned from my city's Reddit forum just for pointing out the truth bout what groups were behind the reckless illegal fireworks all summer. No warnings issued at all.

Hello, This past January, my RUclips channel got hacked and taken down by RUclips. My channel had 17K subscribers, a couple of videos with more than a million views, and I’ve had it since 2012. I was a kid when I made that channel, now I’m an adult. Is there a way to get it back ? I lost all hope but now I’m reading here and on other videos people referring to hackers that can help you out but I don’t know it seems too risky .
I remember I was pretty much in the same position as you, I remember when my account (this one that I'm leaving this comment on with) was terminated for three strikes of copyright infringement back in August 12, 2014 and it took me 2 years to get this account back, I'd had to go through a lot of stuff and contacted a bunch of emails to the company that filed the DMCA on one of my videos and ask them to retract their DMCA they made so I can have below three copyright strikes to get my channel back, then after two years I finally found the right email address of the company, then on October 7, 2016 my channel was finally reinstated (thank the lord), but congratulations that you got your account back, you didn't have to go through much like I did!

RUclips terminated my account, I drew tanks in my videos in very cartoonish style. Some tanks showed a german iron cross (not a swastika) which i saw in multiple other videos that are still on. Look at the positive side. If you have friends you can warn them of unjust RUclips system. I just want to tell you that you helped me with your advices to take my channel back! So I think all people should watch this video that had the same problem with my channel. Thing is that after my comeback, my channel has about half of views than before. That's very disappointing because all my stats is at about half numbers than before the ban. My channel, Kush Life was banned for the second time in 2 years, was growing fast with over 1,600 subs averaging 250-275 new subs a month, all the hard work, over 80 videos...gone. I've been appealing and nothing yet. Last time this happened which was last summer, it took 3 months to get it back. AND they NEVER told me I got it back, I just had mad people telling me to wake up my channel is back. Hope I get it back again.

I took this guy's advice out of curiosity *after* my account had been suspended for almost 2 years. Within an hour of appealing to RUclips for the *fourth* time I had my channel back. Also, if you can think of any legit reason for why your account got suspended, apologize for that reason.

One of my friends account was terminated. He did send a later to RUclips and they responded that the account will remain terminated due to too much “hate speech/harassment”. The odd thing is that he was never given any strikes or warning, it suddenly was terminated. What can he do now?
Nothing I did worked. I finally gave up a month ago, threw an angry flame at YT's 'appeal system' which is nothing more than an ugly cesspit of bots and AI-garbage, and I transferred to a different e-mail and moved to a new account. This is a truly horrific injustice. I never even posted any videos nor did I ever intend on making money off of anything I did on YB. I either made comments or subscribed to various channels and made some playlists (some I made private because I didn't want children or young people seeing them due to their adult nature) but I still lost my old channel to some bullshit AI system and after many polite appeals acknowledging that maybe I did something wrong, I gave up, threw a bunch of angry flames at the 'bot system' and have now officially 'abandoned' my old account altogether and moved to a new one. I hated doing that but I couldn't just be quiet either. Either all of this was some epic AI-related blunder or it's a hideous byproduct of societal obsession with 'family friendliness' which quiet frankly is entering into an quasi-authoritarian moral panic. Thank GOD I didn't have any videos but it did cost me 12 years of comments and playlists. It's absolutely pathetic and disgusting that some AI-related flub could cause someone to lose years of work and contributions, even big-time youtubes with thousands or even millions of subscribers aren't safe from this. I fear for the likes of Boogie2988, BlastphamousHDTV (whichever incarnation he runs), Tyrone Magnus, and even SSSSniperwolf's futures because of this. All of them are big-time RUclipsrs with sizable fanbases and thousands of videos but even they aren't totally safe from wrongful termination on this platform. I've seen several big-boys/big-girls channels be terminated for no reason. If YT can destroy the careers of the big people, YT will find a way to completely destroy everything you've put years into. And yet they've allowed truly horrible content stay up, including videos of those threatening violence against the LGBTQ community, and mysogintic violence. Many innocent channels, big and small time alike, have been terminated for no reason, and never got restored, even as I've seen some truly horrible content that blatantly violates RUclips's terms of services but they've refused to flag, or delete them. I've loved RUclips for well over 12 years and have enjoyed many videos and making comments (as long as they're appropriate) but what I went through just about ruined my respect for RUclips and I've seriously contemplated moving to other video platforms. RUclips is historically a great platform but if this continues or worsens, enough people will finally say "Enough!" and will either force YT to fix this, or there could be an exodus that coud result in RUclips becoming the 'Myspace' of tomorrow: a once-great platform, relegated to the dustbin of internet history..... To those who have large accounts with thousands of videos and fan bases (and are not violating any Terms of Service), please have backup e-mails in case this happens to you. I was among the unlucky ones whose channel got terminated for no reason. I got lucky though and had a backup e-mail in case this happened. Don't put all your eggs in one basket. This should never happen to anyone like me, who never threatened anyone, never posted misleading content, nor did I ever attempt to promote scams, spam, or any other deceptive contents. Completely unacceptable. Now I'm beginning to rebuild and pray this never happens again.
This is insane. I had one of my channels disabled on this account today. Don't think o did anything wrong. It was a stories channel like many others around there. Problem is I have other channels on this account, including one monetized which I have been building and making a bit of money. According to the terms they will probably delete all of these channels too, I have no ideia. So this really is about destroying people's life's who have no ideia what mistakes they are even making. Being banned for a comment! I think there should be a warning to enable a change of attitude as losing ones community is like death. Not having been sent an email makes it seem like this was simply personal and someone just did not like me and hit the delete button before they went for a cup of tea. RUclips does not understand that a person can change in order to progress. I thought that was part of the reason we are here, to create a better world through pulling each other up regardless.
The same thing happened with me, except I was permanently banned from my city's Reddit forum just for pointing out the truth bout what groups were behind the reckless illegal fireworks all summer. No warnings issued at all.

This past January, my RUclips channel got hacked and taken down by RUclips. My channel had 17K subscribers, a couple of videos with more than a million views, and I’ve had it since 2012. I was a kid when I made that channel, now I’m an adult. Is there a way to get it back ?

I remember I was pretty much in the same position as you, I remember when my account (this one that I'm leaving this comment on with) was terminated for three strikes of copyright infringement back in August 12, 2014 and it took me 2 years to get this account back, I'd had to go through a lot of stuff and contacted a bunch of emails to the company that filed the DMCA on one of my videos and ask them to retract their DMCA they made so I can have below three copyright strikes to get my channel back, then after two years I finally found the right email address of the company, then on October 7, 2016 my channel was finally reinstated (thank the lord), but congratulations that you got your account back, you didn't have to go through much like I did!

I just want to tell you that you helped me with your advices to take my channel back! So I think all people should watch this video that had the same problem with my channel. Thing is that after my comeback, my channel has about half of views than before. That's very disappointing because all my stats is at about half numbers than before the ban. I am thinking that it is normal since my channel was banned at about 2-3 months, but I am trying hard to get my previous numbers. And all this adventure has left me with a continuing fear that it may happen again..

My channel, Kush Life was banned for the second time in 2 years, was growing fast with over 1,600 subs averaging 250-275 new subs a month, all the hard work, over 80 videos...gone. I've been appealing and nothing yet. Last time this happened which was last summer, it took 3 months to get it back. AND they NEVER told me I got it back, I just had mad people telling me to wake up my channel is back. Hope I get it back again.

Nothing I did worked. I finally gave up a month ago, threw an angry flame at YT's 'appeal system' which is nothing more than an ugly cesspit of bots and AI-garbage, and I transferred to a different e-mail and moved to a new account. This is a truly horrific injustice. I never even posted any videos nor did I ever intend on making money off of anything I did on YB. I either made comments or subscribed to various channels and made some playlists (some I made private because I didn't want children or young people seeing them due to their adult nature) but I still lost my old channel to some bullshit AI system and after many polite appeals acknowledging that maybe I did something wrong, I gave up, threw a bunch of angry flames at the 'bot system' and have now officially 'abandoned' my old account altogether and moved to a new one. I hated doing that but I couldn't just be quiet either. Either all of this was some epic AI-related blunder or it's a hideous byproduct of societal obsession with 'family friendliness' which quiet frankly is entering into an quasi-authoritarian moral panic.
Thank GOD I didn't have any videos but it did cost me 12 years of comments and playlists. It's absolutely pathetic and disgusting that some AI-related flub could cause someone to lose years of work and contributions, even big-time youtubes with thousands or even millions of subscribers aren't safe from this. I fear for the likes of Boogie2988, BlastphamousHDTV (whichever incarnation he runs), Tyrone Magnus, and even SSSSniperwolf's futures because of this. All of them are big-time RUclipsrs with sizable fanbases and thousands of videos but even they aren't totally safe from wrongful termination on this platform. I've seen several big-boys/big-girls channels be terminated for no reason. If YT can destroy the careers of the big people, YT will find a way to completely destroy everything you've put years into. And yet they've allowed truly horrible content stay up, including videos of those threatening violence against the LGBTQ community, and mysogintic violence.
Many innocent channels, big and small time alike, have been terminated for no reason, and never got restored, even as I've seen some truly horrible content that blatantly violates RUclips's terms of services but they've refused to flag, or delete them.
I've loved RUclips for well over 12 years and have enjoyed many videos and making comments (as long as they're appropriate) but what I went through just about ruined my respect for RUclips and I've seriously contemplated moving to other video platforms. RUclips is historically a great platform but if this continues or worsens, enough people will finally say "Enough!" and will either force YT to fix this, or there could be an exodus that coud result in RUclips becoming the 'Myspace' of tomorrow: a once-great platform, relegated to the dustbin of internet history.....
To those who have large accounts with thousands of videos and fan bases (and are not violating any Terms of Service), please have backup e-mails in case this happens to you. I was among the unlucky ones whose channel got terminated for no reason. I got lucky though and had a backup e-mail in case this happened. Don't put all your eggs in one basket.
This should never happen to anyone like me, who never threatened anyone, never posted misleading content, nor did I ever attempt to promote scams, spam, or any other deceptive contents. Completely unacceptable. Now I'm beginning to rebuild and pray this never happens again.

This is insane. I had one of my channels disabled on this account today. Don't think o did anything wrong. It was a stories channel like many others around there. Problem is I have other channels on this account, including one monetized which I have been building and making a bit of money. According to the terms they will probably delete all of these channels too, I have no ideia. So this really is about destroying people's life's who have no ideia what mistakes they are even making. I see a lot of channels of people being robbed and destroyed, and also they do nothing. It's crazy

My channel just got suspended a day ago, they said one of my video violating something, which I never upload video with that tittle. and the email receiver address even not my address, but it got in to my inbox. My laptop has been hacked, my FB were hacked and now this. This is so upsetting, I hope following your tips can helpme out. thanks alot
