Lovely update... just watching is like a vacation :) Like your other fans, fancy film work isn't necessary. Just really happy to see what you share. Good reminder to get out and enjoy the beautiful places of this world.
The Island hopping boat trips in El Nido (4 different tours A,B,C &D) were all under $20usd and included BBQ lunch on a beach. This was a decade ago. All were worth doing, but we did them 4 days in a row and that was a mistake because 6-8 hours in the sun on those boats were exhausting!
Casual is probably better for travel like that. Definitely a better pace for what you're doing and probably less awkward with all the people around. Loving it.
That beach 14:41 🏝️ looks so nice with the big shade trees and cool hilly ⛰️ island in the background, can’t beat Free99 either! Lookin forward to more casual raw style travel videos, anything you think is cool or worth sharing. ☮️
Love the new format! Although the scenic dramatic shots were great before...this style is actually more action packed! I'm here for the adventure regardless!!!
Hey sweetie… so good to see you’re still safe and having a good time exploring your culture. We are enjoying it right along with you. Don’t put any pressure on yourself as far as what you’re filming and editing. We’re just so happy that you’re safe and you’re sharing. We are a fly on the wall on your journey. Sending you a big hug from the east coast 🥰
@@PoetMamasheya! I will usually leave my passport locked at home or in a locker at a hostel😅 dunno if that’s the right things to do and my gear I put in a dry bag in my backpack and keep it on me when I’m walking around.
Maybe not trying to do all that extra camera work will keep you safer too, because you can just pay attention to your surroundings. You are adapting and being flexible. That’s a good travel plan! ❤️🏴😎
I got tired walking through the canopy with you 😂😂😂 Your nails are super cute and I love you get to eat so much fresh fruit. I cried a little watching you talk to your grandparents because I know how much it meant to hear their blessing. Keep doing what you do, you're free spirit is beautiful and refreshing ✨️ Love you 😍
Thanks for taking us with you Louy!! You are such a kind person and so sweet and thoughtful towards your family. it’s lovely seeing you tracing your roots 🐾🐾💚Jul and family
Grandparents are wiser for a reason. I had a very difficult time being in the Bahamas. I will never leave the state's or Canada again. Right now is not the time to be abroad is where my mind is at. So stay safe and be very mindful of your surroundings. Complacency is not your friend.
So happy you are experiencing this wonderful journey. You will be fine. It's safe. My daughter went there solo in 2018 when she was 19 years old. She loved it. Only issues were mosquito bites and sun burn.
Amazing videos like always! I’ve been wanting to travel there for a while now, and then BOOM, you did it! Love the videos and the culture there. Safe travels to you!
Thanks for sharing your travels with us and keep being you! No one else does it better! You keep it real and that's one of the many reasons why I love your channel!
I don't mind the casual filming. I do wish you would get a bluetooth mic for your lapel because your audio is all over the place! I'm having a wrestling match with my volume controller! lol. Otherwise, glad you are having a great time exploring! :)
Welcome to the Philippines!!! I’ve been watching tour content ever since you showed being friends with Foresty Forest!!!!! Great to know you have some Pinoy blood. Hope you can convince Foresty to visit our country!!!!
Hello Loui👋🏾 Enjoying your trip virtually. I've said it before and I'll say it again. You should consider doing "voice overs" the tone of your voice is soothing and calming.✌🏾
Hello Loui, I visited the Philippines as a male only, but Philippinos are used to live among very cute Philippinas all the time, therefore they will not jump on you like wolves. They behave gentlemanly towards travellers and I believe Philippines is a very safe country for female solo travellers. The Philippine kitchen has much more to offer than sisig like many adobos or caldereta or cerviches. You will not like to taste some dog dishes in the Cordilleras, even if that is some part of Philippino tradition also, but there is so much to discover like Bicol express and infinitly more.
Thank You for sharing. We’re Alaskans, as well. Our Daughter In Law is Filipino and has told Us how beautiful. It us there, as well as, hiw affordable it us, once You’re there. Afterseei g this, I a t to go even more so. Be safe. See You out there.
I worked at the Manila restaurant on M St in Washington DC in the late 80s and loved my Filipino friends and all the great food I got to experience...had to check round trip airfare prices after watching this one ☀️
This really makes me want to hop on a plane TODAY. Is there a quiet place you could recommend that wouldn't involve much driving, yet still able to enjoy the wild parks and beaches?
Thank you. Too many focus on video quality and carry bulky camera to achieve movie level quality. But it’s a vlog not avatar 4. Film the real life nitty gritty of travel, and you’ll win every time
@@AdventureTimeLoui Yeah I know..... I island-hopped all over SEA but somehow missed the Philippines... Regret. Do you scuba? If you haven't, I very much suggest you go get at least a PADI advanced diver cert. It will change your life forever and you will thank me later. Philippines is one of the very few best place on earth to learn to dive.
I think a more "casual" video shows a more authentic experience. Love how real and open you are with sharing your experiences
You're killing it! We don't care about fancy film work. Just great content like this! Thanks❤
I’m glad I can share in a ways that make the most sense for me and you all are still in for the ride 🥰 I appreciate you 💗
Yeah a natural, docu style vlog is fine especially when you're on your own.
Agreed😊❤️
Agreed😊❤️
9:20 That's such a cool place for a nail salon/bar. I've never seen anything like it!
Right!? I could’ve even had a margarita at the same time!
10:05 "Just be careful up there and watch yourself". Great advice. Your Lola is such a sweetheart.
Love my Lola to the moon and back 🥰
Loved going on this adventure with you! Thanks for taking us along

The video was enjoyable. Now I want to visit the Philippines as soon as possible. Thank you for taking us along the journey :)
$100 U.S. for 4 days is really cool. I’m surprised your mom hasn’t joined you on this trip. At least for a “visit”. Enjoy yourself. Stay safe.
6:30 That's such an amazing view!
That canopy walk was so amazing. The polar opposite of Alaska. Wow!
Thanks for sharing your adventures Louie!!! All your videos are great because of who you are and all the diverse things you experience 💖

I am currently enjoying the video :) thanks for uploading!
You’re making me miss Hawaii and the locals there
Its beautiful there!
I'm glad you're doing well and enjoying yourself. I traveled solo in Australia but mostly stayed in Sydney aside from a trip to the Blue Mountains.
Love it! You are brave and awesome!!

You are truly living the dream and making so many memories. I’m 57 and retiring in two years and planning a few months there.

Sweet for of the ocean from up there, thanks Louie : )
I just enjoy 'spending time with you', whatever format your videos take.

Interesting. I'm thinking the opposite. I think it's a great time to travel. But as always, you have to be careful wherever you go!

That nail colour was so cute, and the salon looked dreamy
Loved your video. What a great place. Mmmm love your fruit choices.
I came to India 19 days ago and I admire your choice of Phillipines, thank you for making vlogs and showing us the vibes,
You’re looking good thank you for the information. Have fun.❤
Loving this adventure! Film style is working. Thank you for bring us along. It’s especially special since you have ancestors there. ❤

Don't worry Loui.... your hair looks so phenomenal. Maganda!
Great to see you enjoying! Some of the video was a little blurry, but not to worry. I personally land in the Philippines on Jan 23rd.
Have the best time!!
I’m so glad you’re loving Philippines ❤
When you hike to the top of that one Cliff side I've never Rock formations like that. Pretty cool
Great outing! Haven’t been there since the 90’s. To see people on cell phones is a trip, but otherwise has not changed a lot. Crazy.
Great videos Loui , thk you 🙏🇨🇦
Filming in the raw moment is cool...no fancy editing, makes us feel like we're right there! ❤
❤ I'm behind on videos but that's because I've been moving into the Sprinter❤ in a snowstorm no less😂😂😂
Do tell , fun , fun , fun ?
The video is great!
Thanks for the great video!
Aww you fit right in!

Damn! Kuya is a G taking you up there in tsinelas. Strong feet. My ass NEEDS shoes/boots 5:50
3:54 Adventure Time...Slowly? :) What a cool discovery!
Tip: Try that half of papaya and add yogurt and granola or similar thing and it makes an amazing breakfast! Eat it right out of the fruit.

Is your camera waterproof?

Are you going back to AK now?
WOW 😍🤗
Casual is good.
You do deserve it ! Treat yo self 😄
Baba'e, after driving around your hulking SUV, that motorbike must be too much fun.😊

When are u coming back to the U.S.?
She mentioned spring
I miss William , how is he ?

Just trigger our imagination re traveling/exploring - and include food pics, lol. We’re good.
Way to get out of your comfort zone and venture into confidence.
😎👍
That is expensive laundry, 10 kilos is 240 pesos only in cebu
Unless you want luxury, spa etc, US$100 can last a few days
yeah it was also high season/the holidays in el nido. things can be double or triple what they cost elsewhere or in low season!

Need to work on your audio.
I had given up on you b/c of no posts.
Your new set up should be better. Watch you and Simon all the time.
less producing less editing.. please and thanks.. ;)
Blah. Return to your Jeep travels or I'll unsubscribe.
you probably should unsub already because when I arrive home I’m building a sick rig not on a Jeep 😘
Thankyou! For showing the beautiful! Content loui.🩵❤️💚
