I thought the bey would go well with flat spike type bit and he used the same thing.
As someone mentioned in another video, it honestly would be pretty damn awesome if this kickstarts an engineering league in Beyblade tournaments. I'd finally get to see that idea of people crafting their own beys like in the shows since the first generation in real life. There will be rules of course (or perhaps this can lead to subclasses of the competition), like using official bey ratchet/bits, size, weight limit, etc.
I have been saying that same thing for a while. Customs are not fakes. They are inspired and picking up where players are finding their desires, hopes, and dreams not fulfilled.
They are starting to do some small custom bey tournaments, as custom are getting more popular.
I’m glad the Beyblade wasn’t just a weight bully but actually had some great thought put into the design, making a custom bit was also great. I really like the direction the channel is taking with custom design, maybe some time in the future you’ll have three custom made beyblades that you take to a tournament! (Not for official games or anything, but it would be a fun video!)

Last year, I was playing beyblades with my friend at school, he was using sharkscale 1-60 lr, and I was using rock golem 5-60 gear point, and the shark scale jumped out of the arena and hit my nuts

You should use Wizard Rod with the Hexa bit instead, that's the more commonly used meta build nowadays. It has better stamina, and stronger burst resistance

I think this demonstrates the defense dilemma that the Beyblade X's designers have been dealing with for the last 2 years -
If you make the defense blade too round with outward weight distribution, it becomes a stamina blade.
If you make the defense blade sharp to add counter/recoil, it becomes an attack blade.
If you make it heavier, everything gets better, but without an explicit weakness you push the power creep up a notch
I guess these days they're leaning on just making CX blades super top heavy to split the difference, but we'll see how that plays out.

While yes, I see what you're saying, it's not EXACTLY the same, their wide spike had a point instead of a ball, and the spike protrudes just sliiiightly more, and it also has a second ridge on the inside (while most likely not used, it is a difference) But the key difference here is that the point bit doesn't connect as closely to the gears, it has sort of a large platform between the tip and the gear, where the wide spike has barely any separation
(For reference, I compared the picture shown here (4:01) to my own point bit)

You should make a costume beyblade that throws out multiple pieces once hit so that it covers the board. Kinda like throwing thorns across the battlefield.

what if you made a genie themed beyblade, similar to blast jenies. that had like downward wings that glued the bey to the stadium (like downforce)
and there is like ratchets that have the least amount of drag. such as 0-80. and a stamina bit like orb or even low orb. and a top layer ring that goes on top of the standard top. with small hole angled in away that the surrounding air could exorb. or dont have it on and swap the bit to a flat bit and make a genie el drago.

Great video! I love that you added a weight limit to it's design. It's kinda crazy how recoily it ended up being! Maybe that explains why they had to nerf the weight so much in the official release haha

Ghost only has 2 problems, its size and the "0 side" ratchet
If ghost was the size of wizard rod, it would've become meta instantly, as for the ratchet having "zero sides" it actually has 3 prongs that point downward, what i personally call it is a 3d-60 ratchet, cause the prongs are pointing down instead of out
a true zero side ratchet would also be meta instantly

Would be cool to see the a version of underspike with the stabilizing ring being rubber and slightly tapered/rounded like a worn cs tip. Would help with staying in place and absorbing hits, which could be especially helpful for rhino’s counter attacks high recoil
