Thanks for taking the time to put this together! The underwater footage was amazing and very clear/color corrected. What type of camera did you use? My GoPro 7 footage looks nothing like that.
Hi Peter. Thanks for the compliment. When I first started filming all of my stuff looked like crap. After much trial and error it's gotten better. Underwater video is certainly a bit more challenging. The dive in Cozumel was tough. The current was ripping so when I saw something I wanted to shoot I had to swim back to that point and try my best to hold there while keeping the camera steady. Both dives where shot using my GoPro (Hero 10) inside of a super suit. There was pretty good sun so I used a single light (Suptig 84 LED). All of the footage was shot in 4K 60 frames per second. I hope this helps. Check out the underwater footage from my Galapagos trip. It's pretty cool. (ruclips.net/video/K2eN8N1IMFg/видео.html)
@@shepard9341 Thanks for that info! I'm a rookie when it comes to this stuff. I took an intro to diving course in Grand Cayman back in 2019 but left the GoPro in the locker because I wasn't sure what to expect dealing with all the new diving details. Will be taking another intro to diving course during a cruise stop in the US Virgin Islands in 2 weeks and will probably put the GoPro in my pocket for this one! Will definitely check the Galapagos video out!
I was on the same cruise, I'm at 2:57 in the gray shirt with the camera. There were at least 2 dogs on board, the other was in a stroller. I asked several crew members where the dogs were 'going' since there was no grass on the ship, but none of them knew. The guy you showed took his dog up to the stage at the event with BugNaked so his dog could meet the cat but Captain Kate quickly turned him away.
That's funny. I see you filming also. Don't get me started with all of the crazy shit going on today in our society. They may boot me off of RUclips. I hope you had as much fun as we had. We even left with a nice parting gift....Covid. The day after the cruise both my wife and I got it.
Hi Brian. You guys will love the ship. As far as the excursions go don't wast your money! This ships excursions are a big time rip off. Here are my suggestions. Nassau. See the owner Marvin with Marvelous tours (marveloustours242.com/). We rented the e-bikes for 2 hours at $25 per hour. Once you get out the main area which is super hectic it's much better. We biked over to Atlantis which was cool to walk around. Costa Maya Mexico. If you walk off the ship you will find multiple kiosks selling the same tours the ship does for MUCH less. It is the same company the ship uses so all you have to do is give them your ship card and it will be billed to your room. We went on the Mayan Ruins tour. It was OK. Not great. Cozumel Mexico. We booked directly with a local dive operator (Salty Endeavors) to take us scuba diving. If you are a certified diver don't miss diving in Cozumel. Grand Cayman. Passengers were spending $150 to be taken snorkeling. The word was it was horrible. My suggestion is walk off the ship to the main street. Make a right and take a 5 minute walk to Eden Rock Dive Center (edenrockdivingcenter.com/). You can rent snorkel gear for $15 a person and have the most insane snorkel experience of your life. We rented scuba gear but the best part is only 20 -25 feet deep so snorkeling is perfect. I hope this helps. Have fun!
Awesome, thanks for the tips, looking forward to it! It's our first cruise, so the help is much appreciated. Your video has us chomping at the bit to get out there!
We were on that week too! Nice video! You also caught us having fun at the martini bar at 4:55!
The fish videos are just the best. Also, you have a very pretty wife.
Thanks Donald and I agree, my wife is hot! Check out our latest:ruclips.net/video/ixCQSZ71-1Q/видео.html
Great video! We are on the same cruise this spring. How were the ebikes in Nassau, do you recommend?
Thanks for taking the time to put this together!
