Tusk Pilot Panniers on RE Himalayan - First impressions and discussion.

In this video I explain my likes and dislikes of the Tusk Pilot Panniers as compared to a few other options. ‪@DorkintheRoad‬ did a great complete review of them - definitely check his video out - but this video pertains specifically to their use on the RE Himalayan. Nice review, thanks. Really tempted to get those. My Himalayan (2023) does not have the rear rack installed so I may consider getting the quick release one from Tusk... Decisions, decisions...

I have been considering these bags for my Himalayan but haven't put too much thought into it yet. Is it in your opinion that they will not work with leaving the exhaust in the factory location? Even with a heat Hope you ride your motorcycle shield.

Honestly, I'd only run them by dropping the exhaust a little bit with the bracket. Now, if you buy the optional quick disconnect plates which I do not use in the video, you might be able to position them high enough to not need it.
