Hello Nate! It's good to hear from you in a context outside of your songs, and to hear a bit more about you in general! Indeed it is a wild world... Reflection is very important to me, and it warms me to hear you've been able to reflect happily off what others have said your music has been to them. Your acoustic tracks are some of my favorite songs and they've been bouncing around my head in my 5am morning bus rides ever since I found them. You continue to be one of my top three favorite artists, others being Novo Amor, and Berlinist. I wish you luck with all of your projects, and I hope you never feel forced to do anything-that it can happen naturally. I'm here to go on that adventure too.

I'm so sorry I didn't reply to this sooner---life got extra busy but I am so grateful for your comment! This is exactly the kind of connection I am trying to make my putting myself out there in these (at least for me) more vulnerable ways. I immensely appreciate your support and I'm honored to get to be a part of your world, friend!! I'm excited to listen to Novo Amor and Berlinist as I'm not familiar with their work :) I can't thank you enough for this incredibly heartfelt response and your willingness to put yourself out there as well. I hope life continues to be a wonderful adventure for you, me, and everyone else in this wide, wild world we live in.

Nate! Love to see you being you, and how you have grown on your journey as an artist. Makes me miss our good times together back in the day. You are a wonderful and beautiful human. Keep up the awesome authentic silly cheesiness haha. Stride On!

Aw Clayton!!! I miss all our early adventures together. Can't believe it's been over 10 years. Just saw Brijean the other day and we were both tripping out that we've known each other that long and we've all been through so much life since we first met in the co-op days. Would love to catch up properly with you. Love you so much, my friend!!

Ok what is your first impression of these artists in terms of electronic mood :
Nils Frahm, jai paul, m83, tame impala & bon iver (obvious again ? popular can be good right ?)
PS : I could drop hector plimmer or joji into this mix, but it's not the point (or is it ? yes i'm high)
PS #2 : I know you're not here for this but I gotta say you're an inspiring artist

OOOOoooo! Great questions! Not entirely sure how you define an "electronic mood" so I'll do my best to respond accordingly: Nils Frahm--floating Junos in the concert hall of the cosmos, Jai Paul--suction cup future funk, M83 (not quite as familiar)--emotional epiphany pop, Tame Impala--flange your face off, then rebuild it with pop psychedelia, Bon Iver--this is what feelings feel like when poured through a coffee filter made of granular alien styrofoam.
As for the first PS: I'll have to check out these artists as I'm unfamiliar! Thanks for opening up my world.
Response to PS#2: I'm beyond honored by your words. I get so inspired by others that it is incredibly humbling to think that some tiny little thing I might share with our vast creative society could have any kind of miniscule effect on someone's inspirational feelings. So much gratitude for you

    what's your favorite miyazaki movie

Hey Andrew!! Great to see your name on here :) I'd have to say Princess Mononoke is usually at the top. but honestly it's hard to play total favorites. Everything Miyazaki does is pure genius. Definitely a big fan of Nausicaa and Howl's Moving Castle as well... but ya I honestly just rewatch all of them frequently. The Wind Rises is due for a rewatch soon ;)
