    1:43 "And you're looking for a 30th card"
I'm never looking for a last card, I'm looking which of my cards are the 31st to 50th that I still want, but I'll have to cut.

They mention Tempt Fate and I always think about taking it... but it's always my 31st card.

Yeah I never have problems with my 29th and 30th cards. It's the 35th and 36th cards that are causing me problems.

Fieldwork is a legit *good* card. I was shocked to see it on the list because it is one that I frequently run. Slotless +2 that's easy to trigger. It helps with a lot of tests, not just investigates.

I agree with these! My personal underrated card is Baseball Bat. I first played it in Bob very recently and I was like "wow, this is actually a good weapon!" But of course it broke on the first swing every time I brought it out :P

I like a lot of the cards that you guys chose. Here is an additional set of underrated cards from each cycle (that I have)
Core - Stray Cat - actionless and untested evade. Great in a lot of decks. Bonkers in Yorick
Dunwich - Art Student/Lab Assistant - cheap soak with an untested clue or card draw
    Carcosa - Narrow Escape
    TFA - Counterspell
TCU - Belly of the Beast - Bonkers in Rita decks but great in any Evasion Survivor deck
    Dreameaters - Stargazing
Innsmouth - Sword Cane - chip damage or evasion that doesn't use an Arcane slot

*Fieldwork is pretty amazing on Ursula.
*Reliable is pretty fun on Pocket Multi Tool, especially with spring loaded. Thought the amount of investigators who can get both (without teamwork) is very small.
*Notable difference between the MK 1 grenades and Dynamite Bast: the first one only hurts *other* investigators (in addition to enemies of course).
*Makeshift trap is a fun option in a Wendy deck that plans to use her amulet.

Wow we get a half hour long propaganda piece for Teamwork and nobody talks about assembling the mighty 8 Sled Dog combo.

Grenades being slotless is fantastic. Bring them to kill yard trash and save ammo on your big 2H guns. Or give them to Nacho so he has an actual weapon other than boxing gloves.

Teamwork is great! Any card that lets you break the rules that hard is absolutely worth trying.
Give Mark Harrigan a Jessica Hyde, give Rita a Chuck Fergus, just go crazy with it.

I’m a big fan of fieldwork. Admittedly I play Ursula quite a bit.
Definitely agree with teamwork being underrated…in fact, i think many cards that provide benefits to other players are.

    I stand by it:
Michael Leigh AS PRINTED or maybe a touch less soak=3xp
Michael Leigh but the evidence is created when you DISCOVER a clue= 5xp. That feels like a 5 exp ability when paired with Roland or the Runic Axe or Evidence or even SotC. But being forced to take the investigate just feels like extra time

Can Fieldwork be considered underrated? It’s pretty busted in a ton of Cluevers.

I spy Marvel Champions on the table.
Teamwork has a ton of possibilities, more than Versatile, and that already has a bunch.
Fieldwork is fantastic in Ursula, but I agree its good in anyone who can take it. Except Hacker Minh, I suppose, but that's a niche case.

Which card from the investigator starter packs would you choose as underrated?
I love Mysterious Raven and had a great time with Scrying Mirror in Amina.

Wait a minute. So with Teamwork you can trade the cards that investigators cannot access at the deckbuilding stage? I mean any colour or level? 😮

  • @EvanSawyer4
    @EvanSawyer4 Год назад

Michael Leigh has passive boost to fist and book: nobody mentions Ashcan Pete.
Yeah, Michael takes one of his off color slots, but what more can Pete want from an Ally?

Michael Leigh is unfortunately too high of a level for Ashcan Pete to take. :(
