There is the mighty light bt that hardly has no effect in the app. The mighty lite mk11 is the one with all the effects. And sellers charge the same price. Just to help people not make the mistake i did. Good video
Cool amp, I just got one yesterday, I'm trying to get a good tone, I also got a used Mxr classic overdrive, & a electro-harmonix, analog vibratto & chorus pedal, Plus I have a tech 21 fly rig 5,, but still haven't figured out good settings, I want a alice & chains dirty tone, and chorus Nirvana like clean tone.
Hello Thank you for this great video. I got a e NUX MIGHTY LIGHT BT and I am very pleased with it. I bought it to use it when I am away from home. One thing I could not do, and maybe this is not possible… In order to hear the sound with a headphone (when in a hotel room) I only found a way to put a wired pair of Sony Pro headphones. What would be great is that if I could use my AirPods in order to be wireless. So the setup would be : 1) NUX MIGHTY AMP app loaded on my iPhone. 2) Guitar in the input. 3) Bluetooth to listen to the guitar and backing track from the NUX MIGHTY AMP app. 4) sound in my AirPods. Any idea ?
@@TheToneLounge It appears to be good value, however I'm going to go with the Mighty Air, because of the true stereo sound, and the WIFI connectivity. Using the aux in, the Air would make for a pretty handy keys/synth amp too, for example you could plug in a Korg NTS-1 and I think that would sound great!
Hey Jon, nice one. I have the NUX MG-300 and i'm doing the sacrilege of sticking it in the clean channel of my Katana so it doesn't sound that much plasticky any more. I too believe nux is vfm equipment. Sounds i didn't like that much was the high gain. Honestly thinking of it as a studio recording equipment blew me away, I always was thinking of it as a good practice amp for the small hours.
Sadly, no. Gary Moore used by cranked up Marshall amps and played a pretty special guitar (his Greeny Les Paul). If you want to get more into that Marshall tone, I would recommend that you have a look at the Harley Benton Tube15.
@@TheToneLoungeI already brought the little amp ahah, btw I've been playing with a SHITTY 37€ amp that does not include effects (my lead tone sucks because I can only rely on the amp distorsion, no pedals to boost the sound and the quality is super low, that's why I'm still super super happy to see how my sound is gonna change, I'm confident I'll love the mark 2)
Cool for acoustic guitar does not have the Stageman pedal app installed at the factory. just the IRs and amplifier configuration, or am I deceiving? My use would be the factory IRs plus the other 20 from third parties and using a pair of bx4 maudio. and it would just be an acoustic guitar to play at home, what do you think? it would be good??? Nice Job THX.
Yes...that's the Idea,i have good guitars, but i still Can't decide which a pedal or amp,NUX makes products at a Good price and that excited me, Thank you for kind response, Greetings from France.
Hey, can you give me a tips to record with that amp? I hardly get my sounds right for recording, the sound is always low and the frequency isnt good either. I used Cakewalk Bandapp software PC.
Hard to tell. I have a lot of these tiny amps and I mainly play clean. So far the best I have found is the ZT Lunchbox Junior. It would be nice to hear the amp alongside its competitors.
If you use it with a USB cable, it can become your audio interface. This limits the latency quite a lot. From there, you can use it with Reaper and add VSTs to your track.
Hi! thanks for your video. I got some problems with the connection with Mac. Is your set also work on mighty lite mkii with gargeband? I use type c to connect to my Mac but the sound I record are like almost no sounds, just like a the original signal was too loud to be recorded.
@@TheToneLounge Thanks for your reply. I watched the manual, there is no information for connecting to mac. I used audacity is work. But still don’t know why it doesn’t work on GarageBand.

I have a simple policy. If I hear Opeth, subscribed! Excellent playing mate.

Your MG-300 is also a recording interface! You can use it for home recording as well. As for the high gain tones, try using third-party IRs.
Can i reach Gary Moore type of sound with it? I really love his lead tone, and I've been struggling a lot to even get closer to that.

I think that it would work. Especially if you use acoustic guitar IRs. That would open up the options for sure.

How do you get the ac30 patch, scanning doesn't work?

Download the software for your device from the NUX website. Use the provided USB cable. Read the user manual and you are all set.
I don't know if i'll get a reply, but I wanted to ask if this would be a good beginner amp to start with.
I think it is. The features are not too complicated, and once you get more into effects, you can experiment with the on board ones.
When it's connected to a PC is charging via USB or it need the power supply? Thank you!
It needs to be supplied additional power.
Can it work with usb charger without supplied additional power? @@TheToneLounge
@@vittorio2950 I never tried, so I can't say for sure.
It powers when you just plug it in the pc. No need for additional power source

@yinungchao5953 perhaps look for it as an audio interface when using the USB cable?
About to buy this now, do you know whdre i can get Blink 182 presets ?
I don't know but it should be fairly simple for you to make.
Can you plug your phone directly to the amp and record yourself using the phone camera?
I'm not certain. Have you downloaded the manual from their website?
It seems really good: can you confirm that this does not sound boxy?
It does not sound as boxy as I expected it too sound. It's a very cool sounding amp.
@@TheToneLounge many thanks!!!!
How to plug it into pc? Is it by usb-c output?
It comes with it's own USB cable.
Is the latency bad with this amp when using it as interface?
Nope, I had no issues.
where can i download the desktop app ?
On the product page for the NUX Mighty Lite.
Do I need rechargeable 6 x AA batteries or just regular 6 x AA batteries?
Regular ones work for me.
@@TheToneLounge thank you and also how do you fix the buzz in the 6th and 5th string when using the mini amp
I don't have that issue, but you might want to check how much bass is being driven by the amp. It might be the issue.
What's the name of the desktop app?
I think it's the same name. Check the product website and look at the download list.
Can the Nux be used to record with an iPad!
@@BrianR-ih1rq You would have to refer to the owner's manual. I'm not sure about that.
But what's it sound like threw the speaker. As all recorded threw a sound system
You hear it mic'd at the beginning of the video.
