- I'm Shadow97 and I express myself through music. Mostly metal, but I don't stick to labels and spice it with whatever instruments and melodic and compositional decisions I like. Hope you like them too.
The SNK theme I probably enjoyed the most as far as composition and melody is concerned, but I felt it needed to be done justice with a more modern and heavy sound. So there it is, with a bit of a breakdown in between because I love breakdowns.

I really like this. It's very faithful to the original. Only thing is that I wish the acoustic guitar at the beginning was a little louder. Other than that, this is my favorite song, and I feel like you did an incredible job with it.

Nice cover, you need to do more music stuff. I've given it a listen, looks interesting. But I also feel that the soundtrack is a bit "flat". I can't describe "why" using some music terms since I know no shit about music. Maybe, it happens because of the moments when you transfer from breakdown to the metal parts. I can't feel enough "spiking" and "juice" there.

As for the "flatness", what you describe is either me still not have figured out how to properly mix the drums so that they really kick through even after the master limiting (this thing that makes all modern recordings louder on the same volume settings of your system) or I still have a ways to go in arranging breakdowns so that they really, should I say, slam. Anyway, thanks for the feedback!
