Thank you for the little trip back to the glory days of VGA. It still hurts a little to see where they are now compared to back then, but even their oldest classics still hold up.
I'm sorry about the low quality Rocket League footage, I got it from Unofficial VGA Archaeologist's reupload, and as far as I know there's no higher quality version of it.
As heartbreaking as it is to say there really isn't much to watch. The frequency of uploads plummeted and the quality of the shows plummeted. I don't mean to attack them and they will always hold a special place in my heart. I watched them for over a decade. It's just sad to see.
I watched a good portion of that first earthbound stream live and even had some comments acknowledged… before that the show had never been live period and live streaming as a whole was in its infancy… man I miss those times
Have been on a binge with the comps lately and its honestly sad to see these clips vs what they are doing now. Its staggering how much changed in the scope of a few years. At least we have these videos to remember the good times. Maybe Frash can recreate these in Dreams with AI learning!
