There’s no reason to do any of this. When you update to a newer version of software battery drain (to some extent) is normal as the processors work a little harder to optimize performance with app updates, etc. i leave it alone and ot sorts itself out after a few days.

Guys, if you bought a phone with a bunch of features to turn everything off, save some money and buy a simpler phone. You can always turn off your phone. It will definitely save a lot of battery.
My old iPhone 12 Pro Max eventually had battery issues where it drained too fast. So I got iPhone 16 pro with bigger battery and it’s worse than my 12 pro max with the current battery. Wtaf apple…

Bring devices together does also work with two Apple Watches and by holding an iPhone and Apple Watch together.
IMO always factory reset after a major update make sure you back up your phone so you can restore after the reset hope this helps.
