Im an awakening nova main and I find her so strong esp if u have the right gears. The awakening is very underrated and people tend to understimate its high burst dmg and mobility, tho awakening does make her squishy, she still is a good pickup esp if ure very invested into 1 class and make her work. Any class can feel OP as long as u know its basics, movements, timings, proper gears, and the knowledge of how to use them to their full potential. That's basically it. You should always play what you want and have fun, there r metas but when u r that dedicated to one class, eventually u will make them work

This is surprisingly well put and on point, only thing succ mid grind is actually not that bad, she performs only 5-20% worse depending on zone than the best grinders there due to stamina, no proper pull skill and low combo potential.
Mid grind isn't that close of a difference i'm sorry. I'm not sure who you're comparing to, but the "best" grinders are pulling a significant amount more of trash loot to the point where people who play the meta classes ask if we remembered to turn a loot scroll on. Hopefully we're both calling "Mid" tier zones the same cause i'm talking about 261 - 281 where theyre pulling between 5 - 7k more trash loot from a 10-11k average on OUR end in places with lower end mobility (the bridge rotation in thornwood),. Our Gold lootscroll is most of this games Blue lootscroll in other zones. In endgame zones its even worse with a whopping 60-70% trashloot in Hexe Elvia over what we are able to pull with the same gear/skill/lootscroll Edit: on further searching and comparing, it looks like Sycraia Abyss is the closest gap to that, which maybe the only grind zone with that small of a % of 5-10 Double Edit: further comparisons show thornwood is the outlier at 40-50% differences, other zones are around 20% which imo, the gap needs to get closed in more (for all classes) PvE shouldnt be this big of a gap in any zone

the block break making her completely immobile needs to be changed, you are already heavily stamina gated, as said in the video, after 4 dashes she can no longer move.
Succ nova is really cancer in Aos other than that she is OK And that's why aos need some balance I play awk nova, it's a really fun class And has similar plays style to dk succ (my main) and what I don't like about her is her dmg in pvp in lacking she is fast but isn't well protected and doesn't do enough dmg Her grab will get you killed often.
If only she was actually good to queue with in AoS, cause she forces you to play around her, you have no choice. If your team decides not to, and you get focused at all its almost GG. There's a reason why so many people rolled to her thinking it would be a easy class to climb with, only to find out Musa/Ninja/Berserker are insanely easy to climb with and abuse. There's a whole 2-3 novas in the top 100 in NA not counting their alt accounts. You may get caught by Icy Prison a lot, but there are bigger issues than this from the other classes that are able to 100 to 0 you or get very very near that where a second combo is going to come out quick before you can heal or move away
@@StregaBDO I agree succ nova isn't the most broken class in aos but it's cancer match up same as valks and worrior for grabless classes she can heal do so much dmg and stay safe, good ninjas zerks and strikers will definitely grab you but the problem is this unfair nova is almost really weak against some class and so strong against some classes it's not balanced and not fair
@@exomata2134 grabless classes like Musa/Maewha can attack Nova's shield and still somehow get back attacks, their damage is so high that SA trading is more deadly for Nova, and they can just keep applying pressure as long as they don't get grabbed enough circling us will eventually win. DK's can also dance around and use their blockjump skill. Grabless classes have really high damage and effective means to get around a block. They just have to get their opponents grab to miss. A Valk can do a lot more work, damage, utility, etc than a Nova can too. Fighting a Succ Nova isn't extremely difficult if you have experience vs her, and know how she works. Force her to double dash and its a easy catch as well, or do what everyone else does, ignore her, kill the other 2 teammates, and then run away and stall for E buffs cause the Nova cant kill you or catch you

Awakening Nova got her PvE butchered hard when they started nerfing accel bar generation months ago due PvP overperforming and it's a shame, just split damage mods if you have to imo. Succ Nova is a whole different story. She carries the cross of being "auto play" while in fact isn't and most people parroting that notion have never even tried to play one. In the meantime she's a mediocre grinder, specially in Calpheon Elvia and one shot spots and has insanely bad mobility.
Succ Nova on pvp is pratically a bot, she does almost everything on auto, you just need to spam S+E or wait your pet CC the enemy. So its a inclusive class for those who cant play any other class.
I think you might be confused with launch nova vs today nova. I don't think you'll ever actually play the class so let me update you on a few things: 1. Pets no longer automatically CC. They have to be commanded to attack opponents. Once commanded they will attempt to attack the target for a duration. 2. Pawns were reduced to being active for 30 seconds. They only stiff if you command them through the ability "Command: Opening". 3. Axian will not auto-attack unless you have gone under 40% health thereby "enraging" him for 1 minute. During this time you cannot command/control axian at all unless you unsummon and re-summon. 4. If your block is broken (which happens a lot in this massive dmg meta) - you cannot move. This isn't hyperbole, you get the "broken block" animation, and you just cannot move. It's because your movement has FG on it (on CD) and they never adjusted it to allow you to at least move unprotected. This means if your block breaks = you die. There are other things, but to speak to your "Spam S+E or wait your pet CC" - the second part isn't a thing anymore since you have to use the ability to CC and S+E is arguably the ONLY reliable CC/catch we have. If you don't believe me, make the class, play some AoS, and let me know when you fail to climb the ladder like all of the other ignorant people who talk about classes they've never played.

Make a trial Nova, figure out you're wrong, move on with your life
