I remember cutting a patch of Canadian Thistle 55 years ago, and those few thousand thistles did not come back the next year. I was using a machete. Great exercise for me!
🤯@ 8:50 Wow, thank you for sharing your wisdom! Mother nature knows best and thankfully always wins! Best to work with her, not against! Okay, I've made it to the 42:50 mark... Is there a follow up on what to plant based on which weeds are growing in the soil? I would buy that book in a heartbeat! Lastly, 1:02:22 is dynamite! Thanks again for sharing this!
Thanks for a huge mindfeed, John. It’s unbelievable how an hour of your time can change your perception of the surrounding nature. John, would it be possible to make a list of the literature mentioned in the video? I did understand some of it, but most of the titles wasn’t clear due to the sound troubles.
Hi Stan, the list of literature with links can be found on the Regenerative Agriculture Podcast website here: regenerativeagriculturepodcast.com/winning-the-weed-control-challenge-on-organic-crops-with-klaas-martens
I am taking that free course you offered from Dr Olivier Hussons. In it he mentions using ferrous sulfate to make paramagnetic biochar. But what is the procedure? This could benefit farms all over the world for a very long time. Biochar has been making great soil for over a thousand years in Brazil.
John, Which AEA product should a gardener purchase for leaf hoppers. Which product should we use to help with the Canadian Thistles? I love your podcast, fantastic knowledge sharing, well beyond anything I have learned in any school or university. Thank you
I’m no expert but I believe photomag would be a great tool to help fix the underlying problem which is nitrogen not being converted into complete proteins.
I've got a simple solution for all farmers out there. Make sure that your soils have an abundant supply of organic sources nutrients. Simple there you go. I'll run for president nextime round.
Isn't amazing? God provides us with 94 percent air sunshine and water and man only has to control 6 percent and we seem to mess it up. Just saying. I am 61 years old and just have a sit down with Klaas. I live in Ohio but could travel.
Amen! We take God out of everything now; ethics vs morals, intelligence vs wisdom, freedom from God vs freedom within God's kingdom. And what do we have to show? Broken schools; broken families; broken religious institutions; and broken food web just to name a few!
More Klaas Please! And may Good God bless you all richly! Love from Poland 🇵🇱
Thank you to Klaas and John for sharing this knowledge. I'm also impressed by the humility shown here. It's rare.
