I can’t. I simply can’t. I also generally don’t care for when they go up on “and if I’m flying solo” but it really works amazingly well in Lucie’s voice. 10/10!! She’s gonna have a sensational run
Ugh, I'm in love with how witchy her 'To those who ground me!' is. Give her a few months to ease into the role properly and she'll be a truly legendary Elphie
I saw her two night ago 15/03/2022 and she has eased in soo much more she was literally amazing could do with a few alterations here and there but still really good
Can we talk about what she did after the battle cry?? Never heard that before! You can tell it's planned by the vibrato she adds after it showing that she was in control the whole time
@@LTMusicals nah she didnt crack, it was exactly on the note and rven tho she still has to work on her technique, she was pretty in control over that battle cry
@@maxsamil5663 that wasn’t a crack but definitely not intentional. We call it a vocal glitch it just means you loose control for a split second however hers happened to be at a moment it’s not really noticeable but I promise it was not intentional:)) Cracks are the same thing only what makes it a crack is it slipping into falsetto (thin folds) and hers didn’t she just lost control slightly but stayed in her belt. But to non singers it probably does sound cool yeah.
@@arleen123100 Interesting, so she was just lucky that she didn't go flat/sharp? Also, I belt too I've just never heard of this or had it happen to me :) Here's me singing Defying Gravity if you're interested ruclips.net/video/ZiCPUCVgprw/видео.html
I love Lucie, but this still needs a lot of work. It’s very very tense, you can hear how tense it is by the release she does at the end of notes. Also this is off pitch way too much. I hope she’s doesn’t end up doing damage to her voice.
Are you a vocal coach? I honestly think she just needs to ease into it. The voice is a muscle and it takes time to build the physical and vocal stamina needed for a role like this 😊
@@MiguelAngel-vd6wu in this case it was accurate. It's not hate to be critical of a performance. What he said was true. I love Lucie but she had found her footing in this role yet. Give her time. She had the pipes for it but her character is still lacking. It will probably develop with time.
I saw Lucie play Elphaba a few weeks and just wow! She was truly made for this role, outstanding!

It’s such a jump from Jenna (waitress) to Elpheba (wicked) so I’m so excited to hear her ease into it. She sounds great already!
The “Look to the western sky” was fabulous

Her "to those who ground me" is perfection
Love Lucie. Never thought I'd say that after verkaik x
On my way back from seeing her at today’s matinee 💚💚💚
I was there this night! They were all amazing! And so lovely at the stage door after🥺💚
Agreed. I got both her and Helen's autographs and a picture with Lucie. Totally made my London trip.
Damn, she keeps surprising me at moments I thought she couldn't anymore...

@@LTMusicals yea I’ve heard the EXACT same thing happen to Idina but on the second bring me down.
Can you please do 9 to 5 the musical on Tour?
Do you have Lucy's Catfight?!!
Do you have the whole show?
I don't trade, sorry.

@@lewistulloch3799 I don't think she had covid? She was only off for about 3 shows? But yes I agree 😊
@@lewistulloch3799 yeah I saw that. Perhaps then!
