The cottage was very quaint. I loved the village. There are some real gems in this country if you know where to look. Wish I could put that air suspension on my caravan. Great video. Thank you both.
Thank you for another brilliant video, your decision to invest in an uprated suspension system is superb! Many more years years to come of more comfort and safety, traveling round our great country scenes and history. 😊
Similar system to the AL-Co one that came on our older Hymer. Normally the handbrake should be let off during the adjustment. The creaking noise sounded to me like it was pulled up and engaged Bob.
Great video Bob , I have been looking forward to watching this . Ours is booked in at A&E for the same on 9th December . Having to wait as I am going away and also now gearbox fixed , Salop have some other jobs to sort . Couple of things , did you measure the distance between road and freshwater valve before and after to see the distance gain ? Also, you mention Swift authorising a cage to be fitted to the tank to pull it up a bit . Should I be asking Swift /Dealer for same ? When I complained direct to Swift about mine being low and damaged they made no mention of this retrofit?
The problem on mine is not the fresh water valve. That had already been moved further into the chassis. My issue is the cap on the underneath of the fresh water tank and the bowed tank. I just had the Swift cage fitted this afternoon and it's lifted the fresh water cap I would guess about an inch. However, he tank is still bowed and I want to see what difference it makes.
Hi Bob. Good video. Can I ask where you fitted the VB controls. It looked from the video like the cable was fitted behind the drivers seat, so not sure how easy it will be to access the handset? Do you have to stop, turn around and pick it up from behind the B pillar? Or have you had the handset fitted to the dashboard so that both of you can access/control it? I’m looking forward to your full review. When will you upload that video?
The control handset is on a coiled cable at the right hand side of the drivers chair. I've attached the clip for it to the side trim. I can reach it easily. As for the review, I haven't filmed that yet. I've been a bit busy recently!
