This was amazing. I wish something like this would air on national television. Teenagers should be hearing this, instead of 'beta bs ache marks le lo zindagi set ho jae gi.'
I live in India, I crave for the type of content you produce amazing value man, bought couple of books on behavioral economics and will read them, I will also try to add value to people's live through content and if I achieve some good social currency I would have to bring to my channel and have a conversation with you, amazing stuff.
I was damn passionate about Studying psychology but I was worried about job opportunities and this Podcast literally changed my perspective on various things, I'm glad I listened to this podcast and huge thanks to Muzamil and Ali
Nah, I haven't pursued psychology as a career because, after some introspection, I realized that my interest in psychology is limited to reading, researching and thinking about various topics related to it. It's more of a hobby for me, and I don't have a solid interest in dedicating four years of study to become a psychologist. However, I still spend some time reading non-fictional and other books on psychology. If you want to study psychology as a hobby, there's no need to go to university. You can easily find some good courses on Coursera, and if you want certification or a degree, you can get it through Coursera as well. In my opinion, we should only go to university for subjects that require professional licensing, such as medicine, psychiatry, advocacy, dentistry, etc. Lmk if you have any other things to ask.
This conversation is something that our youngers, who are looking for some degree to pursue , should listen to & also for those who keep talking about so called "scope of a certain degree".I wish i would have seen this podcast before selecting medical. This opened up my mind but at the same time, confused me. Medical is something i don't really like nd don't even feel like doing it for rest of my life but i went for it just because of my parents' wish. And cuz of so called society norms.
I think this was made for me... Recent CS graduate trying to find my place in the workforce. Thanks for the confidence boost and truth bombs. I think podcasts like this are also as valuable as reading a book.
Wow , from Monday I m going to start my college for psychology and I was literally giving it a second thought , I m very glad I clicked on this video. I think I should make people know what they need and not change the things that I chose
I have such a weak attention span that is why online classes dont work for me, but there's something about your show that keeps me focused! Also just one thing, whenever you or any of your guest refers a book, course, website or any other thing, please make sure the name appears on the video so we can take a look afterwards, Thanks!
Thank you for brining up the fundamental existence of universities and formal education. “Education” should never be a certificate of job confirmation but an environment to build your personality.
This is so amazing to watch n hold the key take away for the long run I must say. As myself a healthcare graduate can co relate to this content. The talk has raised some concrete questions to my self-development journey. Hope it get along well. Thank you for this amazing topic of discussion which many of us might be searching from so long.
How come nobody talks about this thing(this podcast) mainstreamly ? This is some cool shit that i JUST stumbled across. I hope you keep on keeping on with this and inspire many others. Cheers.
These are the topics we need to talk about so that we could direct our future generations that job is not an end goal and we can do more..Thanks muzzamil for bringing these educated people who are sharing such amazing thoughts .Love this episode❤️
I am fan of Ali and on lighter note "What not". Please bring him back for more episodes if possible. I am very much interested to learn from conversation.
I want to study psychology but I also love cybersecurity. Now I can't decide what subjects to chose for my A-levels (next year I like to plan my life ahead). But this podcast was of great help I think I have the answer now. Thanks, I don't know how but Muzamil Bhai all your podcasts just seem to come at the right time about the right thing.
I swear I was about to comment on the last podcast that you're back now please upload a new episode ♥️ and here you are !!!! THANK YOU MUZAMIL! You have no idea how you and your wife have changed my life (my way of thinking to the way I do my day to day tasks) you're such an inspiration for Young people! I can go on and on but I'll cut it short. THANKYOUUUUU
Hello Muzamil. You are doing a great job and I really like listening your thoughts behind things. Specially, I really enjoy your conversations with Ali Ilyas. Try to do more sessions with him.
Nice thoughts, although i feel like you could touch the opportunity part a little more. From my experience there are three things that play the major role Paisa(financial situation) Moqa (opportunity) Hunar(skill) Moqa and hunar is obviously vital. Paisa is something that give you room to create both if not exists. Some other issues are lack of career guidance and help finding a potential interests of individual while schooling and the gap between the academia and industry. But overall this session was really nice.
Im myself an alevels student...You said about alevels kids having mental health problems.. what's up with the fsc kids... Im intrigued with this concept.. please do respond
I am graduate in 2018 and try for jobs but eventually 😞. But from this podcast i figure out my main mistake. Inshallah Tomorrow i will go for free internship. great work bro our society and our next generation needs content u provided ❤️😍
Does anyone know the name of book mentioned by guest near 36:52 when he talked about learning self financial management ? Replies are appreciated .Thanks
Please keep calling the guest and also let him speak more. It's just like he was adding on rather than initiating himself. Otherwise, great conversation as always
amazing podcast. I agree with Ali that one needs to be a trained therapist before coming in practice. the dilemma is if you are doing unpaid internship you are not supervised properly because of untrained supervisors. and alternatively if you heir a clinical supervisor or wants to get certified in any therapy you need money. and you need whole a-lot of money to be called as trained therapist.
Okay so finally i have found the thing i was waiting for so long ... thank you so much for this discussion... and when are you inviting me to your podcast bro?
What is your advice for a person who has done his Fsc at the age of 24....and now that guy is confused whether he should do 4 years graduation or instead he learn a skill
This was amazing. I wish something like this would air on national television. Teenagers should be hearing this, instead of 'beta bs ache marks le lo zindagi set ho jae gi.'
People need to understand that Academia and Skills set are both different things and good Academia does not guarantee anything.
I'm glad i clicked on this video. I just completed fsc and have no solid clue on what to do! Your video helped a lot
Glad it helped!
The sheer amount of value in this podcast is phenomenal, feeling like a better person already.
This content should be on Netflix , best thoughts

Yeah ADS is a way
Do ADS , then go for 5th semester admission
Or you can do double masters after doing your bachelor's in a different subject
Why do you want to be a therapist though ?
Yup
