Thanks for the video sir. My doubt is can light of sight propagation achieve long range than that of ionospheric propagation. And what are the practical application of light of sight because it seems so difficult to ensure the absence of any obstacle between transmitter and receiver.

Attenuation loss, propagation loss, fading, absorption loss, scattering loss, dispersion loss, antenna alignment........ still many. To understand this learn communication engineering, antenna and microwave engineering.

In mobile communication, we use line of sight communication. Here, signal comes from multiple path and we face problems of multi path fading

It travels from space only. Here line of sight is straight path from the space. But limitations are there in terms of distance and height of tower.
