    Thanks for the video sir. My doubt is can light of sight propagation achieve long range than that of ionospheric propagation. And what are the practical application of light of sight because it seems so difficult to ensure the absence of any obstacle between transmitter and receiver.

      In mobile communication, we use line of sight communication. Here, signal comes from multiple path and we face problems of multi path fading

    Sir is line of sight communication is possible from any where on the earth or not

      Many applications are there with LOS.

      Attenuation loss, propagation loss, fading, absorption loss, scattering loss, dispersion loss, antenna alignment........ still many. To understand this learn communication engineering, antenna and microwave engineering.

    Video is nice. But, can we use this for long-distance communication? If, it is not, how is it more useful than Skywave propagation since it is useful for much longer distances?

      Sky wave propagation has more loss then line of sight

    you told LOS is one of the two categories of space wave propagation, but as you explained in LOS the signal doesnt propagated through space but a straight line just above the ground. then how would you justify this LOS as a space wave propagation.

      It travels from space only. Here line of sight is straight path from the space. But limitations are there in terms of distance and height of tower.
