Dr. Linda commented on if Lucifer wanted revenge. I think, for a moment, he actually got to see his parents (though not really Dad) as the loving couple he remembers at the beginning. Its hard for people from dysfunctional families to form bonds with others. How can he form a bond with Chloe if he's never seen what it's supposed to be like. Who ever 'borrowed' Johnson's body was probably a benevolent being and trying to heal physical and emotional wounds.

I think, at first, revenge was what Luci ~thought~ he wanted... but when they started dancing, there was a fascination in his eyes of an intensity I've never seen when he wasn't looking at Chloe. Very nicely called, Linda. I do hope "Dad" really does show up at some point, preferably somewhere in a fairly distant future, since it'd likely be near the end of the series. His arrival and presence would... explain much.
