Hi I just came across your channel in regards to growing giant tomatoes. Another champion grower also uses powered gypsum and powdered oyster shells. I have never tried these but hey, might be worth investigating. Thanks for the video.
@@Agui007 hello! I definitely have used gypsum! It's a great source of calcium and also helps break up clumpy soil. I don't think I used gypsum in these pots. I used a different kind of calcium, but basically accomplished the same thing!

Lol, Yeah. I've learned a lot since then! I cringe when I see how bad that quality was. I'll do a better one this fall. I'll be doing plenty of short diary style tomato vids once I start my seeds.👍

It was difficult to tell what your tabletop is made of, but if it's cushioned than your weights may read falsely low. Your tomatoes may actually be slightly heavier than shown on the video. Scales need to be on a flat hard surface.

Are 5 gallons good 😊 for this? What difference have you seen with the 40gal ? Maybe growing horizantlly and mulch to avoid splashing plants 🌱 can have even bigger yields

Hello , great video. I grew Omars Lebanese a few yrs ago and had three tomatos on one plant that all weighed over 3lbs...the biggest being 3lb 13oz and i wasnt trying to grow big tomatos at that time. I have domingo and big zacs growing now. At what point should i start removing suckers ? I have mega blooms on several of the plants but havent seen any fruit set yet. Any advice would be so helpful.
