I have some questions and wondered if you could provide some answers (:
I was told that a university campus lighting system is linked and controlled by the BMS system. They are switched on and off using a timer.
I would like to know how are these lights actually connected, like what is the common flow?
(E.g. hundreds/ thousands Corridors Lights > MCB/Rectifier (Located at the Distribution Panel in a switch room) > ... > ... > BMS)

Yes, you got right information All the Lightning system is connected with BMS (Bulding Management System )through which we can control/Monitor countless Lights which actually a computer and runs a software which support to this system which hs been shown in the video behind that PC we having this system which is shown in the video.
Through BMS how we can control all these lights just stay tune with my channel.
As I shown you to each module having 8 channels each channel can be program separately it has it's on specific address which can be programmed as working timer mode or as working with motion sensor or there are different logics which can be programmed to each channel.
hope your concept got little bit clear will make video on this topic very soon.

It's depend on brand some of them having switching for neutral and phase both but earth wire do not get control by any switch it is directly link with load.
