I forgot to mention this has an app that is controlled with bluetooth!
This is a good review, it shows that I can but this and swing no need to half guess.
This is truly a nice review and made my decision to get the kenobi or skywalker one.
Happy to have helped!
so cool that it has so many unique sound fonts, i wonder if the resold versions of the same saber have the same fonts.
It arrived today the product its very good
His Dad was so surprised he didn't know he was meant to be in the video!
Haha yea I released the video on the day of, so the video was already ready for him to watch on TV while I already had it out on a table for the reveal...
Once again, great video! How did you add the hard case when you ordered?
You can add the hard case for an extra $20 to your order, and they can send you the lightsaber inside the case so it all arrives together in one package!
Hello,
Saludos desde México.. estupendo vídeo y gran ligthsaber.
Quisiera adquirir uno igual, dónde se hace el pedido?
Is it really $50 shipping? Seems like it ofsets the price when you can get the luke neopixel from artsabers for $150 with free shipping.. or does this have more features?
That is a xenopixel and is also on sale price. Shipping may be different for you depending on where it is shipping to. This is an sn pixel so it has similar but not entirely the same features. Arguably, sn pixels have more features but xenopixels function more smoothly. Also that saber is a one button setup that also doesn't have the control box. The manufacturer is also different
Im considering buying this do you know if this is durable enough for dueling?
Also Im new to Lightsabers if the blade breaks is it compatible with other neopixel blades
Also how are they selling the SN neopixel for 120 when on the official site its 240??
Please Respond soon
You can duel lightly, but neopixels aren't recommended, in my opinion for dueling. The blade is just a normal neopixel blade. You can use any neopixel blade from anywhere as long as it's the same diameter of a blade. I can say that if you're looking for great duel worthy neopixel blades, my experience with LGT blades have been amazing. They can take a big hit. The real problem with dueling with neopixels is the gold pins that touch the sensor on the blade. Dueling could damage a neopixel pin in the hilt which can effect the blade by the blade not lighting up properly.
On TXQ'S store on Alibaba, 120 is the listing price. Since I'm buying from America, there are hefty shipping and tax fees. In reality, it's a bit under 200 for when I bought it. 120 is just their standard price for everyone.
@@brandondolanski where can i buy Lgt blades?
@@brandondolanski Thank God im in America
I buy mine from a reseller in America called Crimson Dawn. Has many blade lengths!
which one is this, the SN-PIXEL or the GHV3 or Proffie2.2? great video btw
Sn pixel
Hi , who did you inform that you wanted the saber to be put in the hard case
I informed "Aria" over at TXQ since it was her listing on the store
Tempted to get this saber, the only thing holding me back is that it looks slightly inaccurate to the original hilt design
TXQ do sell the more accurate looking version of the hilt on their store if you browse around a bit. I believe there is also a weathered version there too if that tickles your fancy :)
I ordered i hope it will come soon and i have another question can i custom blade style with proffie style editor
As long as it's a proffie, you should be able to!
But i ordered the sn pixel v4 so still?
No. Sn pixels are not proffie lightsabers. Proffie style editor ONLY works on proffie...
Oh thanks. another question how to open bluetooth and how to play background music?
To use Bluetooth, you can follow this link to the Google Play Store and download the app: play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ztcx.saberx
How do you do the tip drag
Hit the saber and then hold the power (top) button
How long is the blade in cm?
About 81 centimeters :)
@brandondolanski Oh thank you! The skill of turning the saber is impressive. XD
Thank you so much ❤️
My problem with the love of boards is that the blade styles aren't programmable. They also don't handle smooth swing nearly as well as the top boards. For the price it's remarkable though. You probably should warn people just getting into them that they look much more screen accurate on camera.... And I don't really glow from the center and fates with color... That's overexposure on the camera.
This has been brought up in a different video about how real it looks in person, and I do agree that creators could warn consumers. However, EVERY neopixel pretty much looks like a glowing tube, and with the correct camera settings, it will look like a "real" lightsaber. Even if you go to the top of the top neopixels on the market with the best of the best neopixel blade, such as a Quad-star neopixel blade, in person it will pretty much look the same except it being brighter. You just can't replicate a glowing effect outside the tube with current tech. I do hope that they implement customizable blade styles instead of pre-programmed blade styles in the future, but then again, that's pretty much a Proffie or CFX at that point. In my opinion, the smooth swing is great for these budget boards. I haven't had any issues with the swing sound not working properly so far. The higher end boards do handle smooth swing better, but I would honestly say that they are almost indistinguishable if you saw and heard a saber spin and had to guess what board it was unless there were fancy effects that give it away. I do plan to make a short video of what neopixels actually look like in person since it is something that most people don't know when buying a neopixel, and it would be very helpful to them. Thank you for the suggestion!
They look screen accurate on screen yes indeed a deep insight
Which is better sn pixel v4 xenopixel or profiie 2.2?
Sn pixel < xenopixel < proffie. Sn pixels and xenopixels are relatively the same, but I find xenopixels easier to customize and you can get sound fonts more easily for xenos compared to sn pixels. Proffie is just xenopixels on steroids. If you can afford a proffie, it's highly worth it since you cant get accurate lightsaber blade flickering from the movies on xenos but on proffie u can get it to look movie accurate
@@brandondolanskiwhats a cheap proffie 2.2 that cost around 100-150 dollars?
Proffies around $100 are EXTREMELY hard to find since xenopixels and sn pixels are commonly sold around $100-$200... To get around the $100-$150 price range, you would have to buy directly from the manufacturer companies such as LGT and TXQ. The bare cheapest I can see for a proffie from the ways I have bought neopixels for cheapest is at least $148, which isn't including shipping, taxes, ect. fees that your order may require. You're budget is going to have to be closer to the $175 at minimum to get a proffie. And this price is for the cheaper, basic designs. Character sabers typically will cost way more, but the few character sabers that are typically cheaper are Luke Skywalker, Darth Revan, and Kyle Katarn. The $148 example I mentioned is TXQ's Darth Revan proffie hilt, but remember there may be extra fees that aren't shown initially until you reach checkout and you can see the rest of the fees
@@brandondolanskiim just a 10 year old lol i found a 130 dollar luke skywalker i think ep 6 or rotj lightsaber proffie 2.2 plus 35 dollar shipping fee is that good?😊
If you're referring to the one sold on Alibaba from TXQ, then yes. It's where I bought the first Luke Skywalker saber I owned
It looks great. Have you thought about buying neopixel?
Sn pixels are neopixels! They use the same kinds of neopixel blades that xenopixels, cfx, and proffie use.
ty bro@@brandondolanski
Does your hand hurt when holding that lightsaber?
Nope! There aren't any sharp edges at the points you grip the saber at so it feels okay to hold
And another question do all sn-pixel v4 the same just different at the hilt?
Sn v4 sabers refer to the soundboard in the hilt. Not all chasis that hold the soundboard will be identical to other hilts. And to my knowledge, all sn v4 sabers have the same set of fonts and effects
Thanks
How did you get it for 120?
When you buy from the actual lightsaber manufacturers on websites like Aliexpress and Alibaba, you can get it for a cheaper price. $120 is their listing price, however there are taxes and shipping fees that aren't included, but at the time of buying (b/c idk if the price changed), the price for an sn v-4 started at a base price of $120
Can you add fonts?
Yes
@@brandondolanski perfect.
Can i turn off the voices?
No, but you can remove the voice lines from the saber with a micro SD card reader
@@brandondolanski thank you. So i just remove them
Yep! However if you do remove the voice lines, you will lose the audio cue that you switched fonts because the voices indicate what font you switched to
