Poklông Garai Tower Phan Rang, Ninh Thuan
Poklong Garai Tower, is the common name of the most beautiful Cham towers cluster in Vietnam. This tower cluster is located on Trau hill, in Do Vinh ward, west of Phan Rang-Thap Cham city, Ninh Thuan province, about 7km from the city center.
Poklong Garai Tower, built in the late 13th and early 14th century, is the culmination of Cham construction architecture and sculpture art, a famous cultural relic cluster in Ninh Thuan province, attracting a large number of visitors. Travel to discover and learn about a unique culture and architecture. Visiting the PoKlong Garai Tower relic area, visitors will enjoy breathtaking lines with the arched architecture, the spire shape, the decorative reliefs of the ancient Cham culture. This is the most majestic and beautiful Cham tower cluster remaining in Vietnam. PoKlong Garai Tower is a complex of 6 towers, now remaining 3 towers are relatively intact: Main tower (20.5m high), Fire tower (9.31m high), Gate tower (8.56m high). This work has the highest level of architecture, art and sculpture of the Cham people.
The Poklông Garai Tower is considered the most brilliant center of the Cham civilization, built by King Shihavaman (the Vietnamese called Che Man) from the end of the 13th century to the beginning of the 14th century. Po Klong Garai (1151-1205), the king made great contributions to the rule of the country.

Talking about Cham towers is referring to the uniqueness of the building materials that make up them: Cham bricks. Cham bricks are also made of clay like any other soil, but it is so mysterious that we do not know that the ancient Cham artisans carved them directly into living bricks or nine bricks ???
The Cham Tower Garai Ninh Thuan has reached the maturity of the art of architecture and sculpture, reconciling the Cham and Khmer art styles, making them different from the Cham tower populations before and after them.
Po Klong Garai tower relic is associated with the traditional beliefs of local Cham people
New Year's Ceremony: held in January of the Cham calendar, the opening ceremony of the Poklong Garai Tower.
Rain praying ceremony: held in April according to the Cham calendar.
Katie Festival: This is the biggest festival of the year for caregivers held in July according to the Cham calendar. During the 3-day Katê festival, visitors here can enjoy the fan dances, Siva dances of Cham girls and many other traditional activities. The Katê festival is not only held on the PoKlong Garai tower but also in the villages and families of the Cham people in the province
Chabun ceremony: this is the festival of Father in Cham beliefs, held in September.
