My brother also called Odaviingh to try and help him fight a revered dragon. The spell didn't last for him very long when he used it.
Reminds me of the build I recently made with my first mods I've ever used. I made a blood-mage, Blood Elf Vampire. Strait out Destruction, Conjuration and sneak. But without mods I usually run Dark Elf for my vampires. Cause of their racial ability 50% resistance to fire. Vampires have a 20% weakness to fire at stage 1. In the end it balances out the vampire fire weakness to 0%. Cause with the DLC Dawngaurd it maxes out at -50% fire resistance at stage 4. Had the dragon been more aggressive then vampire would be at a major disadvantage. To be honest it depends on the vampire and the dragon. IMO, vanilla werewolf is better than vanilla VL. Especially if we're using set-ups. Dragon Aspect into beast form is brutal. However, if we discuss mods, it's a different story. For the sake of an even playing field, I'll only address Growl and Sacrosanct, since they were made by the same person - Enai Saion. Sacrosanct adds an absurd amount of abilities for vampires, but it also has some debilitating drawbacks if the player doesn't feed often enough. Growl is pretty good, but it mainly just revamps quality of life - such as the player keeping their stuff equipped when the transformation ends, or skills leveling up as you feed/attack, or all other wolves being friendly when in beast form. Growl does add an alternate werebear form though, but I haven't tried it myself.
I'm not sure about the WW but the VL drain spells go up with level. The main issue I have with the WW is that you cant loot until your WW form times out. The necromage perk is also probably the best in the game, makes your enchantments stronger and with the atronach stone you can be immune to magic and dragon fire I actually found it way too easy as a VL.. For comedic value slinging giants with vampiric grip never tires.
Better vampires too! It's probably a power fantasy tho.. Human form gets many abilities and lord form scales indefinitely plus it gets some new abilities too
they could have made so much more out of the Vampire form.... only shooting a red orb at the enemy that barely looks cool is just not badass enough. I love Vampires but In Skyrim I always end up being a Werewolf or normal Hooomaan Jack of all Trades.
Werewolf form is very disappoiting and i think is only useful for disease resistance in human form.. But if use use mods...that's another story... Same with vampirism... Better vampires mod makes you not wanna be human again for how cool it gets being a vamp
I’ve wanted to play this game for the past 10 years and finally bought it a couple months ago already have most my skills at 100 and my main lvl is 136 with full legendary Daedric and Dragonbone armor, I beat the story as well so feels like not much left to do is Anniversary edition worth getting?
@@faithmgtow It's not for everyone. I still love it to death but it could have been done better tbh, like affecting you to some extent even while in human form to add something to the regular Sanguinare Vampiris (to make you feel like you are not an ordinary vampire in general anymore, like Harkon). Fortunately, mods like Sacrosanct or even Sacrilage manage to fix this for me.
@@jakobrenner2230 Understandable. I always felt like vampirism in Skyrim lacked something that lycanthropy had. Like when you were a werewolf you can actually turn into a full fledged werewolf beast. But before dawnguard, being a vampire was basically just having vampiric drain, a couple magical powers, being able to feed, etc. But no option to turn into a vampire monster with wings and crap. Dawnguard obviously added that and I think it's sick lol. Course it could always use some improvement, much like the rest of vanilla Skyrim.

@@beng7845 That's fair, as a passive, vampirism is definitely much better. I simply argue that, as a transformation, werewolf is superior.
Better vampires too! It's probably a power fantasy tho.. Human form gets many abilities and lord form scales indefinitely plus it gets some new abilities too
Wow it took an hr to fight that dragon as a vampire…. I think it would have been faster as a regular Dragonborn
You could have killed him quicker if you fired faster or used your claws, but other than that great vid.
Might as well fight it with a roman candle
they could have made so much more out of the Vampire form.... only shooting a red orb at the enemy that barely looks cool is just not badass enough.
Ik that shout from serana mom soul Crain that dragon never dying name starts with d
Wow that arrow disabled the sun? Damn
Or was a shout?
Ah was the arrow, cool, sad it's so short the time that stays that way
I wish all the legendary dragons and names and lore. Because im boring like that lol
Use marked for death shout to make that attacks feast more efficient.
i never played this game. But all the breaks for choosing different spells / weapons / potions / whatever, are looking annoying.
Live long enough to see yourself become the villain.
The dragon lord is so powerful to be honest in my last game I tryd I shold have become a vampire lord
I’ve wanted to play this game for the past 10 years and finally bought it a couple months ago already have most my skills at 100 and my main lvl is 136 with full legendary Daedric and Dragonbone armor, I beat the story as well so feels like not much left to do is Anniversary edition worth getting?
no, start modding on special edition lol
this dude kinda sounds like farengar sometimes
now do it without any modification to the whoops.
I hate the vampire lord mode. Skyrim messed up with this one and it just needs to be scrapped.
Why? It's sick.
@@faithmgtow Oblivion did it a bit better in term of power scaling, giving you special abilities but also a ptoeential insane amount of stat boost.
it's morbin time
OR, you know, you could have shot him with TWO arrows.
Werewolf could have done this in like 4 hits
You can always go the hybrid route takes away the damaging effects of the sun, it’s pretty easy I’m werewolf and vampire it’s definitely the route to go if yu don’t want to choose
How do u become a werewolf and a vampire makes no sense
@@havok3212 you can with tainted Blood mod
Idk if in this situation i would not see a dragon who win in this battle, that vampire lord is ugly like night, and well, i preffer dragons in general.
Maybe when you summoned the first gargoyle it cleared the dark arrow.
I'd enchant my heavy armor with magic resistance while dual wielding maces. I'd crush legendary dragons in two power attack. Fuckin' scrumptious mate. Fuckin' scrumptious.
makes me want to play for the 19th time! here we go lol
