I'm more impressed with the way he crouch sprays. He's not just crouch spraying, he's constantly releasing and pressing the crouch button while spraying and moving. It makes him much harder to hit, and he's able to control his aim with his crouch timing perfectly for easy percise kills. He's able to multikill with plently of health and shoot faster than the opponent largely thanks to this movement. Good example would be at 3:58, 2:50, and 3:43. Literally dodging bullets
@@itooflemma I played against Headtr1ck when Premier first came out, and I honestly felt like I was playing against a ninja. He kept catching me off with strange angles. I guess at a very high level, that additional few percent of creativity in their style is how they get you 😅
It happens occasionally, S1mple was like this when he emerged as a few others have been. Then the scene catches up and they are simply stand out, not a wild outlier who can't be touched. Part of it comes down to his team allowing him to shine, part of it is a lack of pattern development for the other teams. It's players like this who push the overall standard of play in the pro scene to a new level, it's a beautiful thing 😁
Another very specific thing you can see throughout his gameplay and a few times in this video is the fact that he crouches a lot while shooting and occasionally releases the key. This is not favorable for newer players since it makes you a smaller target and will get you killed easier, but at his level where the pros are used to headshot level crosshair placement it gives him a slight advantage. 3:39 is a good example, it's not a spray and he crouches for a literal millisecond.
Yea nothing spoke about this in one of his early csgo videos. It's a really effective way anyone can shoot. Krimz uses that alot because you are crouch where a guy when aims for your head but then u stand up making them miss their bullets.
Oh WOWWW you're right, that's super annoying to fight against. Also, he's couching and uncrouching within the same spray volley while making slight movements side to side, which makes him even more difficult to hit
the most important thing about donk's aim is that it is smooth, consistent and hes not afraid to just go for body shots when he needs to. alot of young talented players try to focus on having fast flicky headshot aim which looks great in a fragmovie but falls short in an official
He is good player and has put a lot hours in the game. That being said he dont top frag all the time. He actually seem to struggle on vertigo. Anyhow is great that he brings new interest on esports scene. Hope he can ride the wave for some time.
One thing you didnt meantion is his amazing crosshair placement, its even in the clips where you pushes the smokes, barely moves the crosshair at all. Crazy.
That's what I was amazed from, really. When he switches angles in a static CT position his preaim is so fast yet so pixel perfect. And on top of that he clears everything when he pushes.
i really wonder how his life looked tho, when i was a teenager i played csgo all the time (legit school -> home and cs everyday) for 2-3 years straight and by the age of 15 had like 3.5k hours. Donk is 17 and he somehow has 13k hours, not to mention monesy. Did their parents just let them give up school and play cs 24/7? lol
Just curious about 3:08 usually pros jump until they spot someone, as soon as they were about push he stopped jumping, lined them up through stairs(????), went for that strafe from left to the right(where he wanted to go) as they are pushing? Like he was jumping in place to spot someone, but as they were about to push he went from left to right strafe????
I’d say it’s a coincidence and he wanted to switch it up. Many things he does look sketch as fuck. But his gamesense and timing perceptions are out of this world, if we are to trust valve anti-cheat measures. Remember this is LAN and it is insanely hard to cheat… There is also a chance that he heard them i guess
Confirmation bias. Yall gotta stop overthinking every tiny thing. Just because in one instance his actions happened to coincide with being beneficial for him doesnt prove anything nore does it say that he never has situations where he'd be on the other side of the 50/50.
I know it’s unfathomable for a casual player to think he could possibly be getting comms from his teammates or that they’ve scrimmed the same seven maps for 10 years but hey 👋 he’s probably cheating right?
somthing its wrong here. donk position and that timming are created by his teammates. And Chopper its the real genius IGL put his temmate in their favorable roll like a Grandmaster chessplayer
He is young and new to international tournament....no responsibility of team and less expectation from management....He always take trade on capital of his mature teammates......other players want to win the game....He don't think of winning game rather he always bet in and on 'the situations' ... It's is like is playing on top of game of team spirit rather than with team spirit.....and the enemy team say faze, is playing the game with team spirit.....So donk is not only defeating Faze but also team spirit's play not literal 'the spirit of team'...Thus infact he is defeating cs2...Is donk above cs2 ... answer is yes for now with him being with team spirit......For anyone who watches cricket,he is like Virat Kohli of 2011-2015......But as he got matured he was outplayed many times by opponent and there was downfall....but he remain consistent i.e average by hardwork.....and as new player came to team....they started betting on this guys average i.e capital......This works with other sports too.....so question is how long the donk can remain donk......
Everyone aims for the body through smokes. No one is that good at timings and no timing is so precise that aiming for the smaller headshot would make sense
He is so soft on that AIM. Lucky u can do that in the Game files from ur config and nobody has a clue. Thx to Valve for this great Game called CS 2!!! Exploiting the Game engine and GG.
I am not saying that he is cheating but the double kill through the smoke might be based on "clock timing" and having played certain scenarios over and over again during scrims and matches but it is extremely strange. The same thing happens at 3:08 where he is jumping for info and maybe he heard them and that is why he stopped doing the jump and decided to change it in a way where he can get away much easier the moment they were gonna peak around the corner. He is 100% a good player but he just showed up out of nowhere.
