A really nice park 👍
Hey! I see you WV Mountaineer t-shirt ! Hello from Morgantown WV! Go errs!
We really appreciate your tours of the Thousand Trails parks. You give us all the information we need before we make reservations. My husband works from the RV so we need internet and your videos always make comment on the internet. Thank you, and keep up the good work.
Donna, Thank you for your kind words. Feedback like this encourages us to keep making our videos. Lou
Headed up there tomorrow. Thanks for your informative video.
Hope you enjoy it! Lou
Looks like a beautiful place.Yosemite is also our fav.Milo looks to be about ready for a brisk walk! ;-)
Be sure to catch our video on Yosemite National Park | Fall. We published the aforementioned video the last week of October 2021. Lou
@@LivingOurDreamNow We saw it and remember a few of those spots. We need to go back some day.
I think what is most important are the accommodations for RVs. Thank you
Hello Lou, I just chatted with you the other day about Whalers Rest in Oregon. Thanks for this video. My wife and I are also members of Thousand Trails, we were at Thousand Trails Yosemite Lakes in 2017. That is a great place to camp. Yosemite is breath taking. And you are correct New Priest Road is not for the faint at heart. When we started out, I even told the wife I didn't think old Besty, (meaning our truck) was going to pull us up, but by golly we made it. I think we're going to try Whalers Rest next year. Any Ideas as to a good time to go? They apparently did renovate the general store because when we were there it did not belong to Thousand Trails. I enjoy your videos of thousand trails. Thank you and as Roy Rogers use to say Happy Trails to You, Melody and of course Milo.
Thank you for the kind words. Fall was an awesome time to visit, although the summer is a good time also. Lou
Great video, we plan on going there next year. How far is the redwood forest where u can drive a car through the tree from the campground. Thanks
Sequoya groves exist within Yosemite National Park. There is a tree you can walk though. The Redwood Trees are located in a different part of California. Be sure to watch our video on Yosemite National Park. We take you to the Mariposa Grove among other highlights. Link to video here: ruclips.net/video/UQeeanIOS8k/видео.html
12:40 If you try to get up to the park by 140 (?) you'll have to pass through two tunnels with less than 11' of clearance, they are about 2 miles down the road to the right from the Valero, that crazy drive is your only option. They're still looking for my seat cushion to this day, I don't know what I'd have done if I had to drive it at night. IIRC, the sites by the river are for shorter rigs,
We used CA 120 via Groveland CA and New Priest Grade Road.
Our fifth wheel is 13’5” tall will we make it?
Love the video! Great job. We’re staying there this week. What was your site number? And did you have a fire pit?
If the information you are looking for is not within the four corners of the video, I would not recall. We do travel extensively throughout the USA. Enjoy your stay and your time visiting Yosemite National Park. Lou
We're driving from Yosemite Lakes to Mystic Forest RV Park in Klamath, CA. I don't guess y'all went up I-5 to State Hwy 299. Then, on to Redwood Hwy 101. It looks very scary on Trip Wizard.
Yosemite TT is awesome. We had a river spot when we were there. Have you been to Rainbow Pool ? When we asked about a pool that was where TT Staff sent us. It is spectacular. We feel like you could never run out of places to explore while at Yosemite. Thank you for another great review, Guys. ❤❤❤
We heard of the Rainbow Pool but didn't make time to check it out. Lots to do in the area for sure! Lou
@@LivingOurDreamNow If you go back it is worth checking out. We all ready started a list of places to see when we go back. Just an amazing National Park and surrounding area.
Wow, a sewer site on the river - going in the book! Thanks for the heads up on the winding road and lack of cellular service. It looks like fall, what time of the year were you there?
We recorded this video the last week of October 2021. Lou
I remember the first time I dumped sewage into the river.oh what a feeling!
@stevenbrown... You are kidding, right?
Thanks for the wonderful video!!! I’m thinking about going there next year. What’s the elevation?
Yosemite Lakes Thousand Trails rests at 3711 feet, courtesy of Google Earth. Lou
Thank you for sharing your video. May I ask how muvh yhr wifi cost uou? And did you say your phone did work in the clubhouse? Thank you.
It was reasonably priced. If you call the campground they will be able to provide current pricing. Lou
You crossed over on Hwy 120. New priest road up to Groveland?
Yep --That's the road. Lou
