- An AC to DC converter circuit does exactly as its name implies: it takes a harmonic AC input and converts it to a DC output. These circuit are simply from a high level and when operating at low power on a breadboard, but a real AC to DC converter circuit is more complex than just a transformer and rectifier circuit.

excellently explained no doubt, nobody has explained better than this. only one question. when you checked on the meter it was showing more than 63 volts dc, when you said it would be 24 dc. what is the other solution please? thanks and regards

How many amps with this setup
Max 50mA can draw not more all capacitive reactance are meant for low ampere application and once change the capacitor to 155j, 225j or 335j the more the more wattt and max goes upto 100-150 mA.
Resistor at Neutral Line 1w wouldn't get hot? I use 2w carbon film resistor will not hot,other than that will get hot.
1w can't.
Metal oxide resistor 2w also can't.
assalamualaikum brother that think is i have connected 35volt 470 uf capacitor to the bridge rectifier and connected a 5.1 volt zener diode but i got 35 volt in out put and the capacitor was getting hot
if i connect a micro usb cable with it and charge my phone will it charge or my phone will die?
Your electrolytic capacitor wouldn't get hot?
Your no-load output is 63v. It means your capacitor is using 50v.

المقاومة 100 اوم عليها باور عالي ولم تنجح في برنامج الساركت وزارد ؟؟ هل العيب في حسابات البرنامج لأن المقاومة ربع واط لا تتحمل
