İm planning to build the "$1000 Multimedia and Productivity PC" but i want to change the cpu cooler with a liquid one is there any you would like to recommend
Great video and I love your website! I am wondering how your cpu choices and resulting builds might change in light of widespread intel processor instability and AMDs fairly reasonable 9000 series cpu release? I heard that there wont be any more updates or something like that for the 14th generation intel. For a pc for content creation and gaming, would intel 14700k and 4070TI be the right cpu that is future proof? Or would the pc from the $2000 gaming pc video suffice for yt content creation and also be future proof? I also saw some reddit post of issues with 7900xtx with resolve. Not sure if you can anwser that one but yeah, im just curious of your thoughts on this. Thank!
I was wondering in terms of davinci resolve studio is it okay to create separate partition of project files with cache file or just put put project file with main os
Ik this is late but maybe it helps somebody in the future. I love amd cpus and for gaming they’re the best, and a way better choice over intel. How? Did you install drivers incorrectly? Are you sure the games you were playing were at fault and not the GPU brand? The 4060ti is not a good graphics card.
I notice you seem to prioritize RAM size and GPU performance over CPU performance - doesn't make sense for creators, no? I'd include an i9 even in the $1500 build, maybe an older generation to make the numbers work. That would really help with render times in video editing.
GPUs are better for content creation related workloads than CPUs. See how much efficient and faster it is to render a video through Nvidia CUDA cores than software encoding through a CPU.

@@ScatterVolt Ok Actually I am planning to pair 12600k with 4060ti just for 16 GB VRAM for 3D modelling. Will 128 bit bus be a problem for me? Is it a good move ?
I don't quite know, but more vram will help better than the 8gb model.
A regular 4070 for
@@ScatterVolt Thanks man
It all comes down to budget at end of the day
so what is the performance between geforce and amd? if im right, amd uses open cl and geforce uses cuda right? i would personally use resolve mainly vs prem pro but the 7900gre is on my list of gpus with some 40 series cards that most likely will be paired with an Intel cpu and knowing arc is good but i wanted more from them before i added one to my build in general but i do know i would need to upgrade cpu and motherboards of course but gpu mainly is my itch. i do game but would stream and video edit with the footage, and footage from my canon camera etc ..future proofing some of this but leaving some upgrade paths. (currently have a B450 v.2 / 5 1600 / 1070ti / 32 gb ram
I have a quick question. I am going to start video editing (4k videos with DaVinci Resolve) as well as 3d model things (With Fusion 360 and Blender). But I also want to game some as well. Do you have a suggestion on what would be good for both? Would the ones listed most likely work just fine? I'm also not looking to spend an outrageous amount.
The above in my pcbuilds.gg link can do that. They use components that are also used in gaming PCs.
@@ScatterVolt Ok, Thank you. I really appreciated this video.
With a budget of 15K, what is the *best* build for a gaming PC?
Four RTX Quadro cards, threadripper, 1tb of ram, etc
Hey man, thanks for the builds and insight! I have a question though. When you say the PCs are good for content creation (AI, Rendering, Video Editing), would the PCs also be good for recording? As a small creator, I'm looking for a PC that can stream, record, and edit. I was particularly interested in the second option, but I've heard about the controversies surrounding the 4060 TI. What would you suggest for a GPU for that build, around the same budget? Thanks for all the help!
You can use a better value Radeon GPU for small creator stuff. Nvidia’s GPUs are worth it for professionals in that regard.
Browse pcbuilds.gg, you can do video editing and streaming with Radeon builds.
Loved ur vids man! Can you do a tutorial on how to build from scratch your $2000 budget pc for content creator. Id love to use it as my guide. Thanks.
Just follow any of my pc build guide tutorials and more or less, the steps I take will be exact the same.
Ok. Im a newbee to this but ill find my way thru it. Thanks man!
İm planning to build the "$1000 Multimedia and Productivity PC" but i want to change the cpu cooler with a liquid one is there any you would like to recommend
As long as it isn’t dirt cheap you’re fine (although Thermalright hasn’t give me any issues and they’re quite inexpensive).
Hey bro I have no idea about pc , I am a ps5 dude but looking for a editing pc so I can edit all the hours of me gaming
Also is this good for live streaming ?
Great video and I love your website! I am wondering how your cpu choices and resulting builds might change in light of widespread intel processor instability and AMDs fairly reasonable 9000 series cpu release? Quick sync seems great, but I can't envision anyone purchasing an Intel cpu until their issues are resolved.
I really want to build that $1k pc but I have 64ddr4 ram which id like to use so can you recommend a motherboard with intel i5 but with ddr4 and 3 Nvme slots?
I heard that there wont be any more updates or something like that for the 14th generation intel. For a pc for content creation and gaming, would intel 14700k and 4070TI be the right cpu that is future proof? Or would the pc from the $2000 gaming pc video suffice for yt content creation and also be future proof? I also saw some reddit post of issues with 7900xtx with resolve. Not sure if you can anwser that one but yeah, im just curious of your thoughts on this. Thank!
Wait until this fall if you are stressed about being futureproof. Intel is coming out with that new 15th gen socket later this year.
I was wondering in terms of davinci resolve studio is it okay to create separate partition of project files with cache file or just put put project file with main os
what about music production?
Same applies
im grateful for this vid bro! But I'd like to ask, are any of the am5 cpus not on par with the intel cpus u mentioned for gaming/AI/video editing?
Ik this is late but maybe it helps somebody in the future. I love amd cpus and for gaming they’re the best, and a way better choice over intel.
HOWEVER for video editing specifically intel CPU’s with integrated graphics are the only option you should consider, because they have a special feature called quicksync that makes editing like 10 times faster. Hope this helps !
I am editing 1080p footage on a ryzen 5600x and 7700xt and it works fine but intel would probably be better, just if you were wondering 👍
So in terms of streaming? Are all these pc builds meant to be single streaming builds?
They can be anything
@@ScatterVolt alr bet, good to know
@@ScatterVolt do you think it would be a viable option to get a 7800x3d instead of the 14700k in terms of content creation and a streaming pc? I know outside of gaming it won’t be as good as the 14700k but I want to know if it would still do a good enough job because I want to build a pc on the am5 platform do that I have room to upgrade both the cpu and cpu in a few years
Istfg your prices shown on the website are so low. I cannot find 32 gigs 6000 mhz ram less than a 200$ my country
I’m based in the US
why in the list doesn't have ryzen cpu? in terms of production ryzen cpu js poor??
Intel Quicksync is goated for video editing
Hmm. Thanks. ❤
anything cheaper than a i5 12600k but still pretty good at multytasking because its pretty expensive since i live in canada
I’m currently building the 800$ pc build you posted and I’m trying to download windows 11 but it keep telling me I need more space, I’m using a 16gb flash drive and it still doesn’t work any suggestions
Did you completely format your USB drive?
Yes
It let me download windows 10 so I’ll just have to start with that
I'd pick the rtx 3060 12gb for davinci specifically
I just ordered everything for my first gaming build ever and I would love to have your opinion on it!!

Looks good
Do your research on MOBO's, a lot of the B650's are apparently really bad.
Not the one he's got. It's a tomahawk, it's got solid VRMs. The cheap B650 board will get what you pay for.
@@ScatterVolt Cool, wasn't sure of the exact ones. 👍
Try to find ram of lower latency like 32 or 34 and I would suggest you to go for xpg s70 blade SSD or Kingston kc3000.they are better in performance
Guys i have 12700k can you recommend gpu for me, i intend to buy 4060 ti 16gb.
I intend to do some game only, no need to go 4k. I use my computer for light editing and work, currently have 1650 ti still a beast.
My game csgo 2 need good gpu, i have 100-160 fps in very low settings and it keep stuttering.
The BEST 👑 Gaming GPUs to buy in March 2024!
ruclips.net/video/xN9I_Z8fS6w/видео.html
No amd gpu pls, i have bad experience with rx6700 xt.
@@ScatterVolt Interesting, this contradicts literally every article and video on this topic. For video editing, the GPU is almost irrelevant. No wonder it's slow, when you put a shitty i5 into a $1,500 build 🙄
Never knew Channing Tatum is a computer geek!
😅😅
Is AMD not suitable for the Creative work?
Intel CPUs are really nice for video editing like I mention in the video due to quicksync
@@ScatterVolt wow.
Thank you for replying.
Which is best for photo editing?
In GPU?
@@ScatterVolt Your Data are instrumental. Before I watched your videos I built a PC with Ryzen 7 5700G + Rx 6600 in March 2024. It didn't deliver the speed/quality I expected. is there any technical alternative?
Arc should be a good choice if you're on a budget.
Is i5 13600k and rx 7800xt + 32 ddr5 good combo?
Nah, it won’t even run minesweeper
@@ScatterVolt 😂,im being fr will it run Everything?
@@_notl.namel_ yeah its a pretty good combo, in general the 13600k is a well-balanced cpu, so it works really well in anything(except pure gaming where 7600x is slightly better)
why not 7900x

Thank you!
