    "Any gaming pc can stream." That's what I needed to hear. I have watched 100s of videos. Building my first PC ever for gaming and streaming and I believe it's easier that I was starting to think. $1000-$1500 budget should blow me away (console gamer) just trying to put my dumb face and some friendly banter with some gameplay.

      Only problem I found out lately is that 12600k supports max 4800mhz so how 6000mhz will work or help ? And should I go with 5200mhz/4800mhz instead of 6000mhz ??

    For video editing, particularly with Resolve, having multiple drives is typically the way to go, as far as I'm aware. Having your raw footage on a drive separate from where you have Resolve located appears to really help in keeping things from beginning to chug.

    • @kevinpark4682
      @kevinpark4682 6 месяцев назад +3

      can you explain the seperate drives? I'm using resolve and not much of a tech person.

    • @SamuraiiAE
      @SamuraiiAE 4 месяца назад

      @@kevinpark4682 your drive has a certain speed that data can be read and written in, and having software running uses some of that buffer. Your OS(operating system) uses some that passively already and then any additional software will add to that. Having your project files on a separate drives means that they wont impede on each other
      p.s. im not really super knowledgeable on this stuff so i could be wrong, but this is what i have gathered from reading some stuff and watching a few videos

    • @RawdawgSpeedStunts
      @RawdawgSpeedStunts 4 месяца назад

      @@kevinpark4682I’m new to this as well but - From what I understand it’s beneficial to a certain extent to have your raw footage on a separate storage device from your video editing software. For example: I use Premiere and it’s installed to my computer’s internal storage drive while my raw footage gets dumped to my Western Digital 7TB external hard drive.
      (edit) It’s a WD 8* TB external hard drive

    Guys a quick question.
    For twitch or youtube streaming
    I see some people buy another pc just for that...
    Is it necessary ?or todays technology is capable of playing games and also streaming
    Plz let me know I really want to know if it is still worth it for going intel route or not
    And also
    I saw him picking air cooler and Im not sure if it is a good cooler or not but my question is that do you need a high end cooler for high end cpu like 14700k or air ones are valid options?

    • @ScatterVolt
      @ScatterVolt  7 месяцев назад +1

      Not necessary

    • @justinhawk835
      @justinhawk835 7 месяцев назад +2

      Only big RUclipsrs and streamers does that because they make ton of money and for them comfort is more important than performance ,so you don't need extra pc for streaming and editing. regarding cooler,there are plenty of air coolers who gives better performance than aios.noctua, deepcool, peerless assassin are great air coolers and also maintenance for air coolers is way less than aios.aios are mostly for aesthetics

    so what is the performance between geforce and amd? if im right, amd uses open cl and geforce uses cuda right? i would personally use resolve mainly vs prem pro but the 7900gre is on my list of gpus with some 40 series cards that most likely will be paired with an Intel cpu and knowing arc is good but i wanted more from them before i added one to my build in general but i do know i would need to upgrade cpu and motherboards of course but gpu mainly is my itch. i do game but would stream and video edit with the footage,and footage from my canon camera etc ..future proofing some of this but leaving some upgrade paths. I have a quick question. I am going to start video editing (4k videos with DaVinci Resolve) as well as 3d model things (With Fusion 360 and Blender). But I also want to game some as well. Do you have a suggestion on what would be good for both? Would the ones listed most likely work just fine? I'm also not looking to spend an outrageous amount.

    Hey man, thanks for the builds and insight! I have a question though. When you say the PCs are good for content creation (AI, Rendering, Video Editing), would the PCs also be good for recording? As a small creator, I'm looking for a PC that can stream, record, and edit. I was particularly interested in the second option, but I've heard about the controversies surrounding the 4060 TI. What would you suggest for a GPU for that build, around the same budget? Thanks for all the help!

    • @ScatterVolt

      You can use a better value Radeon GPU for small creator stuff. Nvidia’s GPUs are worth it for professionals in that regard.
      Browse pcbuilds.gg, you can do video editing and streaming with Radeon builds.

For a pc for content creation and gaming, would intel 14700k and 4070TI be the right cpu that is future proof? Or would the pc from the $2000 gaming pc video suffice for yt content creation and also be future proof? I also saw some reddit post of issues with 7900xtx with resolve. I notice you seem to prioritize RAM size and GPU performance over CPU performance - doesn't make sense for creators, no? I'd include an i9 even in the $1500 build, maybe an older generation to make the numbers work. That would really help with render times in video editing.

    • @ScatterVolt
      @ScatterVolt  3 месяца назад

      GPUs are better for content creation related workloads than CPUs. See how much efficient and faster it is to render a video through Nvidia CUDA cores than software encoding through a CPU.
