This could be exactly what I’m looking for. I go to the Boundary Waters once in awhile and was looking for something a bit heavier to throw baits worthy of northern pike.
I have both 6th sense travel rods spinning and casting. I use them for traveling and keep them in my work van that way I always have rods with me. They are awesome
I have the 7’2 MH moderate for throwing squarebills and jerk baits. I bought the rod on the initial release, aside from replacing a rod guide it’s been a great rod for the money.
@@HookLife yes, it’s the one piece. I’ve played with that rod quite a bit regarding line and techniques. My one piece does fine with 30lb braid for topwater and I’ve used 40lb braid to leader for spinner baits and chatterbaits, not ideal for those, but it worked fine.
I have the spinning and casting versions of this rod. Gaps at all the connection points. I've used the spinning rod fishing for trout fishing in north eastern Iowa streams. It worked great. Only used the casting rod one time to try it out and it worked fine too. I haven't flown with them, only trunk traveled.
I’m on my first trip with it now. It traveled to Florida just fine. I put it in a suitcase and checked it at the terminal. Caught a flounder with it yesterday. I could not be happier. The spinning rod is next on my list. Thanks for watching and for the great info. 🤜🏼🤛🏼
Saya suka sekali Paman... Joran casting saya patahdan belom ad gantinya, dan joran juga reel jiging saya hilang saat dispot diambil orang. Sekarang saya mancing apa adanya. Saya rindu mancing lagi ditengah laut.
The gaps are fine some of my 4 piece fly rods are made that way. Most fly rods also have alignment dots on the unions to make sure the sections are lined up. Just use a paint pen and add a small dot on each section
Great info WWF 👍 fishing all my life but only a yr1/2 for bass started out buying all this expensive one piece stuff for sensitivity but finally had to admit I'm too old and decrepit for sensitivity 😬 gonna probably get one just to have it with me always 👌👍
I do plan on getting the other model. They only have 2 to my knowledge. A med heavy casting rod and a medium spinning rod. I can do almost everything with those 2.

I just got back from a Florida trip. Got my first 2 redfish, my first spotted seatrout and a handful of flounder. All on the casting rod. Performed better than expected. It’s a keeper for sure. Going to ask for the spinning rod for Christmas.
Just got this for Christmas.
Can’t wait to try it.
Thanks for posting the review and especially confirming about the gaps.
No worries Tony. I’m happy it helped you. Thanks for tuning in
Yea it would be nice if it had like a keyway or something on it. That way it only lines up one way
Agree 💯

I’m a super fan of the rod. I think your gonna like it
Awesome review man I’m sold
Thanks for watching!

That sounds like the identical model I have. I’m assuming your is one piece. I’m very happy with performance on this. Thanks for watching Nick

I got the Milliken's Travel Bundle (Casting)
$109.99 it is a great deal. Good rod to keep in the car.
I love my travel rod

Great review, you convinced me. Have you tried the traveling spinning rod as well? If not, a great next review video 😉
Thanks for watching John. I do have the spinning and I have used it earlier this year. Review coming this winter. Thanks for tuning in.

Great Tip John. Thanks for the info. That’s gonna come in handy.

The fishing industry knows we all have a shopping addictions. This rod is surprisingly sensitive as well. In’t do think you will be disappointed.
I was so excited to get this. It will not stay together. So very frustrating.
Hmm that’s not normal. I would suggest contacting them via phone or email to ask if this is a common issue and have them advise you from there
Also I carry my fly rods and a reel broken down in my back back as a carry on so there is no chance TSA messes it up or gets lost.
I can do that when I travel solo, but with family I have way to many Carry on’s 😂
@@HookLife 👍I remember those days, enjoy because the next thing you know they are 30 and married.
I’m soaking up as much as I can. Thanks John
So are you going to order all the travel rods for all the techniques

Always mind the gap
I've seen enough. I'll take one lol
I don’t think you will be disappointed !!
5 Oz isn't that light. But for a travel rod, it's OK.
I thought that’s pretty light. What travel rods do you use and recommend?
It's looks like a two piece rod witch all my rods are two piece rods thier just easier too Cary
It’s a 4pc rod. It’s awesome. Just got back from Florida, caught redfish seatrout and flounder on it. Love this rod
