I'm so glad you always do a pen test. I've become a paper snob as I have gotten older. lol. Your reviews are honest, straight forward and very informative. Love your videos!
Thank you for this review. I had a few planners to choose from and this review helped me eliminate this one. You touched on some must-have items for me not included in this planner. Thanks again.
Thank you for giving the column width! Sincerely, Team big handwriting. Would you or your audience know of more book-bound planners no smaller than a5? I’m finding that I love spiral layouts, but they get in the way, particularly in a vertical layout. And my handwriting laughs at anything smaller than an a5. Thank you!
Very interesting planner. I like the budgeting aspect of it but I would have to cross so many things off! Proud sprogless solitary pagan here hahaha. I'm rather enjoying using the avalon & ninth vertical planner this year. Have you checked that one out? Very neutral, good paper, and actual coil.
It's a pretty planner but I can't do coils. I prefer bound or a planner I can take pages in and out of so I don't have to deal with the rings/discs getting in my way. I don't do goal planning so those pages would be wasted on me. Also, the budgeting pages would be more helpful if they were blank. Thank you for reviewing these planners. It really helps.
I am using the neutral Navy Blue cover. Great planner. I also signed up for her Tame Your Time productivity course . Ruth Soukrup, the creator and NYT best selling author of Live Well Spend Less is inspiring. The planner comes with 10 daily emails on how to use this planner. I use this as my weekly planner and my Amplify as my daily workhorse planner. This is a great planner!
I know what you mean about styrofoam. I recently got a package from Lush and was shocked that it was full of packing peanuts, until my sister told me it was dissolvable (and eadible but tastes nasty) and you just flush it! x
I can't believe she is still selling this planner. I've never purchased it - the Binding alone was enough to chase me off. All the do it scared and crushing it stuff comes from the blogging courses and add-ons she is constantly selling as well. I got stuck on some mailing list and no matter how many times I unsubdcribe they pop back up again in a few months. The scared thing was also a podcast not sure if that survived. I'm not the least bit surprised by the quotes either lol I do enjoy all of your reviews though Cindy!
Omg same! I heard of this planner in 2016 and it’s beyond me how the planner is essentially the same. I remember I joined the mailing list thinking that maybe the following year there would be substantial changes but nope. Still a filled in budget, the same exact layout, the colors that hurt my eyes, and yeah no real changes. I believe they now have a neutral option and they finally moved to 100gsm which for the price is ridiculous.
The navy one doesn’t have the rainbow colors inside. I like that you can do a full 3d flip through of each planners interior on their site. So glad you finally reviewed this one!
I dont blame her for all the TM and its kind of funny actually because I feel like many moons ago her planner had the words life planner and Erin Condren actually sued her to get her to change it. 😂😂
I have that planner and I have the same question! Why have 3 goals a month and only 1 breaking it down page?! Is it making me prioritize? I just feel like there should be breaking it down space for each goal.
I think you said that they offer several styles of the same planner, might there be a more neutral one? When you first brought this planner out, I had to shade my eyes. I appreciate bright colors, but I prefer to add all that color myself when I want to add the color.
They have a navy one that does not have all the rainbow mess inside. You can do a full 3d flip through of the entire planner on their site. Agree this one is wayyyy too bright
I wish those notepads would ditch "should do". the word "should" can just end up like a stick to beat ourselves with. "Must do" and "would like to do" is way more balanced. or if three categories is helpful then "must", "would like", "bonus things" or something
I never heard of that planner but love the review. It has a lot of good "starter" areas for someone new to planning, but it's not what I would use now. The budget area would be a waste, as I would have to cross things off and then I would get frustrated with doing that every month. The bold colors are a little bright for me.
Knowing is half the battle😎 GI JOE😂 I say it to my kids all the time 💪🏻 obviously they give me a weird look cause they don’t know what I’m referring to 😅
I would love those sticky pads if they didn't have the A, B, C on them. That's suuuuuper distracting and as someone on the low vision train, would be too cluttered when written over for my liking. This feels veeery similar to the Cultivate What Matters color scheme but not quite as punchy. Idk I like it way better than the penny pincher one but...won't be a contender for me. Too hard on the decorative bits.
I would use the page with bank and credit card numbers for a quick access reference for the official phone numbers to compare against for scams calls. Other than that I wouldn't put any of my personal info on something like that.
I love Labyrinth and Jim Henson studio. And when I MADE my husband watch it with me, his response was "yeah a bit shit, sort of childish, I didn't get it". I asked him if he wanted to get the divorce papers now, or wait til tomorrow? He decided that "it was actually pretty good and the puppetry stuff, is that what it's called, seemed very talented."...... I don't understand the 'Do it Scared' goal thingamajig, what the, do what scared, bungy jump yep terrified. Keep house clean for 1 week, plant a new garden bed, meditate for 98% of nights monthly, these are not things I do scared. I'm very confused.
I print my own diy planner inserts but I still love watching all of your planner reviews for planners I will never use.
It’s like shopping without spending money (for you haha)
I'm a bullet journaler lol
I'm here like every day
Cindy and Amanda’s Favorites are my two favorites for reviews. They are totally different personality wise but both really great.
@@sallynoma5310 I watch Amanda too! They are definitely different but they also review different planners, which is nice.
I, too, enjoy planner, “window shopping”.
Like the layout, very colorful

Turns out that planner reviews with Labyrinth impressions is *exactly* my jam. Who knew?
Thank you for this review. I had a few planners to choose from and this review helped me eliminate this one. You touched on some must-have items for me not included in this planner. Thanks again.
Hey heyyyy Hella early & Super excited! 💖 (I don't need a new planner, but I could listen to you talk forever haha🥰😅)
Awww yay!
Love it! Thanks for the opportunity to participate. 🎉

Proud pagan planner here as well! Eventually we're going to have to come up with our own won't we?!?!
@@karaslater7877 I think we might have to hahaha
Love watching these reviews even though I'm in Ireland and will not pay the postage. Have you ever reviewed the Lavendaire planner?

I used this planner. The only part I didn’t love was the paper quality. But I’m shocked you didn’t get the neutral color option
I love watching these reviews mostly for the pen test face. (Am I the only one who sees a little face with the squiggles, dots, and lines?)
YES!!!! Love the pen test face lol
Now I can’t unsee it lol

Excellent review, Cindy! Totally agree, more pages needed for Monthly Expenses. Thanks for sharing!.

Review the clean mama homekeeping planner!

Wow...normally I love the color but this is a LOT! I'm overwhelmed...thanks for the review.
Your chuckles at the appropriate 12 year old boy time makes me laugh every damn time!!

Since the O on the daily pad looks so much like a checkbox, I got really hung up on reading it as "Theres Need From Me" and was very bothered :D
Me too!

I keep getting ads for the Switch Research Self Love Journal. Was wondering if you'd heard of it or had any opinions on it. 🧐

I looked at the website and you can’t buy the notepads separately, unless there’s something I’m missing …
