I bought this "cassette" for my daughter when she was about 6, now 42......& I still love listening to it. Unless we become as little children.........
We used to sing this in children's church back in the late 80's/early 90's. All this time I had no idea that the Gaithers wrote this (I thought my children's pastor wrote it)!
I'm not religious, but I'm still fond of this catchy song because I'm a word nerd and I like how they go through all the dictionary definitions. Also it's just upbeat and fun!
I taught these songs to our children's choir many years ago. They had great melodies, messages, and are great for kids to learn. I especially liked "I Expect a Miracle," "Inside Outside", "I'm Somebody," and "I Just Gotta Tell Ya", which sounded to me a little like Billy Joel's "Tell Her About It."

While I am very greatful for the 9 you uploaded, I seem to remember one other, I don't really remember the words, and I might have been getting something else confused.... but then I notice on the cover it says "10 new songs". Any idea about the 10th song?
+TakatofanAgain You are correct! The only one I didn't upload was "I Choose to Be Your Child," which is a slow, Bill-and-Gloria-only song that we always fast-forwarded as kids if we could. Hahaha! I should probably upload it, though, for completion's sake.

After all these years I remember all the words to this and all the ones in the album. I loved this album so much as a kid. Still love listening to it.
