Fort Baguette finale used to be more fun when it spammed monk waves constantly before a nerf once upon a time. I usually run 150% because constant double monster spam gets kind of annoying. Rat actually runs 199% sometimes, which I think is fun because stuff like armor and special votes are increased but you don't end up with nonstop double monsters. Spamming fireball at armor is mostly for my pyro attack speed stacks. Crubop was also basically new to cata twitch here but he's catching on quick :)

Jsat was not the first to suggest that it is wrong to die with anything in your inventory which may have helped you. The earliest example of that advice I can recollect being expressed so similarly belongs to Miyamoto Musashi (c. 1584 - 1645) who wrote, "you must make fullest use of your weaponry. It is false not to do so, and to die with a weapon yet undrawn."

I think the eye tracking is a neat idea that could provide some insight. Maybe not for every video, but for a few

So kind of Fatshark to keep supporting this game.
Hope they release a new istance soon without the mistakes of the past. That would be wild.

hey jtc ive watched many of your videos trying to learn the game and theyre amazing. Ive noticed you dont have a huge habit of headshotting and was wondering if there was any particular reason? Does headshot damage not really make a big enough of a difference to care?

Hey Jtc, I'm not sure if this comment will be seen, since I didn't want to put it on one of your Darktide videos, but I was doing some research and couldn't find any results online, so either I'm very silly or I'm not looking in the right place since I'm sure some people know. Anyhow, I was wondering if Ironbreakers ult will allow him to block shield-shatter monsters. Anyhow, I really enjoy your stuff, and thanks for being a part of the community of such an awesome game :P

Would you say that blocking at the right time is more dependent from reaction time or game familiarity/knowledge?

Mix of both, different attacks have different animation timings. Chaos warriors are a great example, their attacks all have unique animations that are easy to distinguish, but vastly different timings. For example an overhead attack will have a pretty long wind up and will bet really easy to see coming, making it rely less on reaction time and more on knowledge of how long the animation takes. Comparatively, the chaos warriors punch attack comes out really fast with almost no wind up, making it almost completely rely on reaction time

For me it’s predominantly knowledge, but for everyone else it’s a bit of both.
The attacks of elites and specials are telegraphed in very specific ways to make them unique from each other, preventing others from confusing them with other attacks and helps people aid their reaction with a bit of knowledge. For me though, I’ve spent so long playing that I’ve memorized every attack and the muscle memory that accompanies it and can pretty much play based solely on that
