- Welcome to my breakdown of the TRANSFORMERS ONE Official Trailer. In this video I will explaining the backstory of Optimus Prime (Orion Pax) and Megatron (D-16) spectulating how their friendship will inevitably end in the upcoming movie. As well taking a deep dive into the lore and history of CYBERTRON. TF One takes inspiration from Generation 1, and the Aligned Contunity, how Sentinel Prime is both a puppet to his Quintesson masters and also quite possibly a jerk like in Transformers Animated.
TRANSFORMERS ONE PLOT SYNOPSIS:
This is the origin story of Optimus Prime and Megatron, better known as sworn enemies, but once were friends bonded like brothers who changed the fate of Cybertron forever. In the first-ever fully CG-animated Transformers movie, TRANSFORMERS ONE features a star-studded voice cast, including Chris Hemsworth, Brian Tyree Henry, Scarlett Johansson, Keegan-Michael Key, Steve Buscemi with Laurence Fishburne and Jon Hamm.

I hope the movie begins with a Peter Cullen narration like the one in dotm: we were once a peacful race, of intelligent mechanical beings, vut then came the war... however it wasnt always like this
I'm just glad to see some actual colour in this movie. It actually looks vibrant. It being fully CG is also a breath of fresh air.
We need an update tier list for Optimus Prime designs!!!
Perhaps not too soon, cus 1 design to just repost the same or similar video isn't as reasonable as three or five new designs
Megatron tank mode
Yea, he's supposed to be a gun but if i was going to let them do one retcon making him a tank instead is better only because the whole shrinking and enlarging between transformations is weird.

Y'know, I'm dubiously excited for this movie. It's a new movie for kids which is great, I hope it's also enjoyable for adults as well. BUT, if they are trying to create a trilogy like I believe they intend to do I think Megs and Prime falling out in this movie is way too early on. Idk, hard to tell much at this point.

In that scene where he has the red eyes and transforms he has his Cannon, you don't see a cannon in the scene where everyone transforms at the same time, even his alt mode doesn't have one at that point

You know, I'm hoping that the movie is both far darker in the trailer AND that there are jokes they haven't revealed to us yet, so that both the tragedy and comedy would hit all the harder.

i'm not too impressed by the trailer, it looks like "fan fare the movie" ignoring the lore that made it the franchise everyone loves it for.
Im loving megs tank mode. Probably the best design out of them all.

But I think the worst offender for me is the change of the origin. Megatron not being a gladiator . who inspired a movement
Optimus not being a humble archivist who is knowledgeable and his wisdom is what inspires the passing of the torch to be a prime
and seeing how their pass cross and start a friendship and how megatron inspire optimus and optimus grow outside of Megatron ambition
I dont want to see oh they been friends sense childhood and they all been chosen and oops megatron spark was corrupted by a bad thing.
I loved that what Megatron thought was just molded by hate and getting power blinded him I like that !
I dont know I will see the movie but those things really worry me.

Transformers Prime Reference
After seeing Gundam Seed Freedom at the Cinema yesterday, the next one will be Transformers One.
Loved it or Hated it but it doesn't matter what matters to me the most is that Transformers One has the chances that this film turns out to be one of the best animated films of 2024 because it has its potential.

I love world looks and it makes me happy. I’m still up in the air about the movie in general but I’m trying to NOT be “it’s difffernet so I hate it”. My main complaint is, can we please start hiring voice actors for voice acting roles again? Please?

Where in the lore is this? This has to be before the Colosseum but Optimus Prime was in "rich neighborhood" where all the drama and "action" wasn't happening. This supposed to be another "alternative timeline?" i believe Megatron and Optimus were friends at one point? i don't remember hopefully someone in the comment section explains.
Go in the movie with fresh eyes this Is a brand new continuity
But if this is before the Great war then he wasn't Optimus yet he was still Orion pax and he is supposed to be slain alongside his best friend and the girl that would become eilita 1 and rebuilt into a prime unless we're going with the transformers prime continuity where he was still a Ryan pax and then got given the title after giving a speech in front of the council of primes and Megatron feels shafted because he believes his best friend took his honorable and rightful role from him
Also he didn't meet bumblebee until after the war started and they could transform be long before that like that is just so stupid

Too many jokes in these trailers. It's so off putting. I can't stand all the silly billy humour in movies now.
This is before the war I think so why not? Compared to the usual steessful war
i don't think theres gonna be too many of those types of jokes in the final movie considering they keep repeating the same few in the trailers

I’m pretty sure the director said he doesn’t want to show too much of it, and that the film isn’t going to be as jokey as the trailers, which is really promising

i wouldn't judge it before it comes out, the director said in the later half of the movie it gets dark. plus i don't think theres gonna be that much corny humor considering they repeat the same couple jokes in the trailers

Why does Noone comment on how cybertron has oxygen, plant life, water, and mountains. This is Primus after all that the transformers call cybertron.
