This video clip has enabled me to virtually visit these towns of Nyandarua. The presentation is so real that I felt like I was walking through them. Nyandarua is very beautiful and to say the truth this is a place that I would love to live in and be far from noisy crowded towns. The sceneries are panoramic. Wow!
I think nyandarua county should be awarded the only county in Kenya which is zero carbon emissions I really love the nyandarua serenity very nice. We really love❤ your content village to town tv Kenyans in diaspora 🇮🇹
This humble village life is what most of us are yearning for. Thanks for your virtual visit to Nyandarua showcasing how beautiful and green the region is .Nice work mr lone traveller
Thanks for that visit,Nyandarua is still a beautiful place to be,from 1986 to 1990,i was a teacher in Wanjohi secondary seconary, when it was a boarding&day mixed boys & girls at Ririon village, when farms were large, very early in the morning you would find alot ice/ snow flakes covering the fields,am planning to visit my old friends, there, i and two friends after arriving late 10:00am at night in Ol kalou,we walked upto Ririon village through Kariamu, that road was not tarmaced,i remember mini buses called Gashau, moti mokoro
Weuh, I can only imagine how that place was in the 80s and 90s. To tarmac, grass thatched houses, it was real country. I visited Wanjohi town and the surrounding villages. Watch out for that episode next week, you might see an old friend passingby haha
@Villagetotowntv thanks bro I love the scenic beautiful sights, all the way from Flyover to Heni, Engineer,Miharati, kwa Mutengori junction, one road leading to Ndemi,an other towards Ririoni,
This palce is so nice. When i was in Nyandarua 2017-2019 being a student at ABERDARE TEACHERS TRAINING COLLEGE.We uesd to go to nyahe ( nyahururu town) and a small old town called Dogino which looks the same as Mawingo. The Thompson falls was also my best weekend spending site in Nyahe.Iam now back home at the coast but i wish to go back there one day for a tour.
Good work. You made my day man. Its good to feel that ka feeling of being home. All the way from mawingo to tigoni. This is where i was born and raised. Kibe following you from Seattle Washington
You are right on the correlation between cold weather and frequency of getting hungry. In Turkana County/very hot, one good meal can take care of your hunger for 12 hours. Not the same for Kabuku in Limuru.
There was a time i found myself living at a place called 'boyman' past nyahe.. after things kushikana hapa kanairo! I didn't like the place at all since hakuna kazi ingine apart from kulima na kupanda viazi.. istayed there for some few months then went to 'Jikaze' twn later to 'Kiawara twn' in Nyeri! iThank GOD HE brought me back to where i feel happy!
People says when you go Nyandarua you will get joints pains due to cold weather. I got arthritis when I went gulf for job yet it's more hot than Trukana 😢😢when I went back Kenya in Nyandarua, I strayed 9 months before I went back in gulf and during those 9mnths, the first 2 months artrits had gone without medication. Went back gulf Arthritis got me again 😢
@@Villagetotowntv it's not bad as people make it look like. I bought land there and there are many old women and men even on their 80s are still doing farming mad normal duties.

You are doing a good job, I have been away from your channel for a while, so my suggestion is, if you can get to know the price of land in this areas, I think am having a bug of buying land in this kind of places, tununue before this mawingu guys come and slash this lands to small plots
@Villagetotowntv cheers bro, I had to stop the video to attend to something saa hii nimefika kwa tigoni, with 1.5 am having 30 acres in kajiado, good red soil, for 3m I got 64 acres there
If you go to any town in Kenya and you don't see an Mpesa shop, 2 bars, and stray homeless dogs wandering around with no purpose, don't stop. Keep going.
Mawingo and surrounding areas needs old-timer to spend their last days slowly there, young people will be bored to stay there, very few economical activities to attract huge numbers of youths
Devolution if properly managed, along with infrastructure development, would transform these places and retain the local population in their counties engaging in meaningful economic activity.
The inhabitants should get titles to their lands. Land = wealth. If they move to the cities, they’ll have to buy food from groceries and rent apartments owned by the foreigners. How cold does it get there?
@@WWTin2024 like which ones? At least give some proof of what you're saying because saying that all apartments in kenya are owned by foreigners makes you sound crazy. At least toa evidence ndio tuone ukweli source yako haiwezi kuwa trust me bro
So this place actually needs to be demolished it’s a refugee camp from the days of colonial and it is evident due to the lack of development. What you have just shown is a shanty town a slum the people living there are underdeveloped and cannot rise to high standards of living whilst lacking the knowledge to sustain properly. The people of that area need to move!

Hahha
Mawingo and surrounding areas needs old-timer to spend their last days slowly there, young people will be bored to stay there, very few economical activities to attract huge numbers of youths
Sure, it seems like the mostly available economic activity there is farming. And as usual, youths are not into it
But the old folks are also leaving due to cold weather relocating to places like Naivasha and gilgil.
Beautiful Kenyan countryside
Cover Nyahururu as well and opportunities available for investment.
Sure, will do
Devolution if properly managed, along with infrastructure development, would transform these places and retain the local population in their counties engaging in meaningful economic activity.
Sure, That makes a lot of sense
We still remain the most populous you know, the reason why the census results are never out.🤔🤔🤔
Nyandarua County the home of chips, potatoes that feeds Kenya with best quality produce from the slopes of Aberdares
