Our area sucks now because of all the people that have moved from California in the past couple years.. they've destroyed 1000s of acres for so many neighborhoods being put up here now.. It hurts to see that, I've lived here for 25 years since I was little, and I sadly can say I can't wait to get out of Texas now..
Same here in Oregon. Californians have voted destroying this place politically, and now the rent is going way up and even the small towns are overflowing and rich history being destroyed by mansions being built. They never learn, they just keep destroying cities because they can afford to constantly move.
Living there? Permanently? Because the number of Texans leaving Texas, total, vs the number of entering Californians is not even similar, to the point where one state's entering population increases the other's by a significant amount.
Here in Hawaii the prices have quadrupled in the past year. Because of more and more people moving here. Just insanity. Homes that used to cost 200k are now 6-700k. Not brand new 5 bedroom 4 bath homes either. Basic 3 bedroom, 2 bath 10 year old package homes in rural areas. Out of control.

Dallas too!
Yeah its out of control back home east coast Pennsylvania my friend pays 800 a month for 3 bedroom 2 bath an here I'm paying 1,450 for one bedroom with office in it 1 bathroom in conroe just crazy
Good! Make those property taxes spicier and you should just move to Louisiana 🤣
...that would be when we have hurricanes and all these other states, Florida and California, come and buy up all the damaged property and then charge us FL and CA prices with Texas income.
And then they vote for policies that bring us Cali prices
Exactly what policies?

I moved from California to Texas about a year ago and that's the reason we moved my dad was just like you lol 😹😆
It won’t be if y’all keep moving here!!!
Hope they put everything up until go somewhere else then put prices down again 🤣
Going to make the property taxes spicy. Go on and move to Louisiana 🤣
To late I'm on my way 😈
This how Las Vegas was until California started moving here instead of visiting 🤣
It’s how California was until everyone started moving there in the 70s. Same thing here in Colorado as people move where the work is and quality of life.
@@Justmekpc not 70s, from 2010. Back then, you could get a very nice house in Newport Beach for around 500-600k. Now they are probably around a few millions……lol.
@@eggheadegghead yes but by the late 70s early 80s people from all over flooded California as that’s where the good paying jobs were. It’s call gentrification and it’s not new. Californians moving here are displacing people who have already lived here for decades and ramping up the price for those who were already struggling
I understand the gun owners now.
Lmao that’s not gentrification fool! The California people moving are moving cause of real gentrification. Houston has been cheap n people have been moving there for years
@@BHTSGOHARD “Real gentrification?” Oh what, we have to gatekeep being poor now?
I hope people who are wanting/thinking of moving to Texas(where I live) understand how incredibly uncomfortable the heat is here. Like you literally won’t wanna go outside. I’m from here and I can’t even handle it sometimes. Just saying, if something sounds to good to be true. It ain’t.
bro i live in houston and i can relate
Respect I also live in Houston 😀
The fact that they come to Houston and make it harder for the ones who are actually working hard just for a TikTok kid come and take it, it irritates me. 💀 Like did their career fail before it even started.
Stop whining and get a better paying job. Broke peasants cry hard but won't work hard 🤣

facts, but elons cult like following is going to follow him here
Then you better stfu before they move there and where the prices up
$2500 is a little extreme for here in Houston. You can get one like that for about $1750
I’m in Fort Worth Texas. We are about to hit 1 million people by the end of 2023. To many people from Cali moving here and it’s starting to get really super expensive.a basic 1 bedroom apartment here is now $1500. And it’s only going up more.
What I want to say, just doesn't need to be said. But... this ain't California, let's keep it that way.
Nah, that would be like 20,000 in SF. 2,500 is the ran down projects here in SF/Cali.
I’m from Los Angeles California and I could be moving to Houston Texas for a federal job real soon. His reaction would be the same as mine. 😂
As a texan I am begging in the most polite way I can to not f***ing come to Texas. Please :)

Rent was really cheap here until these F’s started showing up then all the landlords got greedy.

Actually the only reason there are so many homeless people in California is they are sent there from other states because in many places its actually just fully illegal to be homeless. There are laws in many states that will literally force homeless people on a bus and ship them to the only state that allows them
