@@Ntimidation 1) there is no statement about Itachi's inferiority to Jiraya 2) Kishimoto made Itachi a good guy, so not only are you miss presenting or miss reading the statements, youre not contextualizing them well either 3) Jiraya never took on all 6 paths at once, majority of the fight was against animal path alone, in Sage Mode he defeated 3, and he lost the fight when the 4th path joined the fight.

There's nothing in Naruto plot that wasn't retcon. World is so awesome but story is soooo TRASH. And Naruto maybe the worst shonen protagonist ever.
