Nigerians like good music, Awilo Lokomba was once a hot cake in Nigeria and nobody complain.
RnB was once the best in Nigeria music space nobody complain.
Now that our Afrobeat is all around the world, African brothers are jealous and complaining why Nigeria music.
Funny enough, we still listen and download Awilo, Lucky Dube, Bob Marley, RnB, Brenda Fasie, etc.

That jollof is Nigeria, ankara is Nigeria not Europe please, afrobeat is from Nigeria you guys should be truthful to yourselves and stop being sentimental, as for the music Nigerians will continue to grow and will never fades out, as for the Ghana movie industry that was an extension of Nollywood until they started charging $10,000 before they could allowed Nigeria to shoot, Nigeria left there, then Ghana movie industry falls, until you are faithful to yourselves will continue to remain where you are, the one even said Nigerians copied from them, vunch of haters

"Jollof" rice is Nigerian (and Ghanaian, Gambian etc.). "Benachin" is from the Senegambia. While the former originated from the latter, they're pretty much two different rice dishes in modern times. Ankara is not Nigerian, but this is how trade has worked for millennia. Afrobeats is Nigerian. When we're not in the spotlight, we just enjoy others' success that's the difference. Ghana is having a moment with its brand reputation and getting endless international publicity from the year of the return campaign etc. Nigeria is supporting Ghana by joining festivities, artists performing over there and such. Now imagine if it was the other way around, walahi!

They should all stop speaking Nigerian 🇳🇬 Pidgin English as well, as 95% of pidgin spoken in Africa is from Nigeria. They don’t have a problem listening to foreign music, now Nigerian music have taken over it’s a problem. They should ban it we don’t care, our music is BEYOND Africa.

Ankara is not European clothing. Ankara designs are mainly African, while the production and colour hue are originally from Java in Indonesia. The Dutch copied the production system from Java,Indonesia, and started producing it in large quantities for Africans and Asian markets, especially with the invention of machines. Holland was sweat shops for African Ankara clothing. It didn't come from there. There was a time the British copied cotton fabrics production from India and, with the invention of the industrial machine, started selling the cotton fabrics back to India.

The two ladies actually seemed so clueless. Are they really Nigerians that grew up in Nigeria? What did they mean by saying that Ankara isn’t Nigeria but European? Show me the Europeans wearing Ankara. They pay you guys to sit in the studio to spew misinformation to your viewers without proper research. What has journalism become nowadays?

These presenters seem to be out of touch. There are languages and foreign elements that seeps through. Everything country has got those stuff. Amapiano has not become Nigerian because we sing and Azonto never was a Nigerian beat, it is Ghana. Stop confusing issues. Obviously these presenters are not in touch with the pulse of the people especially regarding the careless manner of appropriating Amapiano and Azonto.
