She's an experienced equestrian . She has a ranch, and this horse is very highly trained to perform in front of people, just like the horses in parades. I believe it's her own horse. She is also constantly rubbing him and petting him which keeps him calm. This horse and her know each other very well. You can tell that she loves this horse. She knows exactly how to communicate with the horse.

My understanding it is her horse that she raised and trained.

@005uz345 I was going to say that because I'm sure that's probably true.

Didn't need a thousand flashing lights, pyrotechnics, etc. to impress and astonished. Just a beautiful horse and a beautiful, talented woman.

After her divorce from her first husband Mutt, she retreated to her ranch. Her horses were her only constant at the time.❤

I WAS THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My husband took me for our 1 year wedding anniversary and it was BEYOND the best experience and present I could have been given because of HER meaning to me and my entire backstory with getting to see her live. THERE WAS A HUGE AN HORRIBLE THING THAT HAPPENED WITH HER & that horse a few days before we saw her. On the Tuesday night she and the horse FELL through the stage into the pit and partial audience………..THE STAGE CREW DIDN’T SET UP THE ENTIRE STAGE FOR THE WEIGHT OF THAT HORSE BECAUSE HE WEIGHED ALOT!!!!!! It could have been bad but all that was wrong was the horse and her were sore and I’m sure bruised, but they got up and her and the horse followed, but climbed the stairs and got right back on . No one was hurt bad or anything. She worked a TON with the 2 different horses for MONTHS then years that she was there. She LOVES HORSES ( my 4 favorite FEMALE artists are MAJOR HORSEWOMEN & 2 greatest men…..King George & RIP Toby Keith.). Back to the incident……PEOPLE SAID IT WAS INCREDIBLE AND AMAZING. SHES AWESOME IN REAL LIFE TOO!!!!!! We went that Saturday night. We got pics and she was literally only about 2-3 feet away from us. WE HAD EXCELLENT seating BUT THIS was in Caesars Palace in the Coliseum and you couldn’t have a bad seat I don’t believe but was thankful he got REALLY good ones PLUS let me go stupid buying merc.🤣🤣🤣🤣❤️❤️❤️ no she rides BIG TIME!!!!!! It was amazing and she USE to have her own that she toured with everywhere like Taylor and her cats. The pain in “Any Man Of Mine” was 1 of the ones………in her other song “Gonna Get You Good” …..The Motorcycle is CUSTOM DONE LIKE A HORSE & is real and she came lowered down on it in the concert. But it’s actually not a prop can be ridden.

Shania (a fellow Canadian) has worked with horses most of her life. Since she got famous she’s always had horse and through her good friend Bo Derek learned about equine therapy. This horse is not only her’s but very well trained as a therapeutic animal which is apt given the song she’s singing. This massive international hit was written as a 10th anniversary present to her then husband, producer Mutt Lange. When this country singer and rock producer first worked together it was very controversial and could have gotten her banned from Nashville. Instead the combination of their two styles created new country, monster hits and changed country music forever. When they married no one thought it would last but Shania. Over the years she changed her life completely to better suit his preferences. She liked writing back home in Canada or in Nashville, he was not a people person and had a studio in an isolated castle in Switzerland. When she had their son she disappeared entirely for a few years, staying at the castle during her pregnancy and during her son’s early life. Eventually they released more albums including the one this song is from but she no longer toured like she had. Several years later as part of the release of her first album in a few years her husband encouraged her to launch a full scale tour, something he had discouraged since her pregnancy. She probably thinks about that in hindsight but as a famously loving, loyal and trusting person she believed it was time and was thrilled to be touring, which she had loved. Unfortunately she eventually learned the truth, her beloved husband had been having a long term affair with her closest friend, who was also her personal assistant and Shania wasn’t welcome back home, she’d been replaced. The hurt and betrayal devastated her for several years, the violation of trust even took her voice. Through the pain and trauma she didn’t even have music. During her journey back Bo introduced her to equine therapy and this horse and the training they did together is one of the ways she found peace and her voice again. She couldn’t sign this song for awhile so it makes perfect sense she transferred the feelings of love, commitment and being on a journey together from a rat to this beautiful horse. Happily she found love again too, it started with friendship and mutual healing and became the love and true partnership she deserves.

    Produced by Mutt Lange.
Written by him and Shania Twain.
Lyme disease 🕷 has got some of the singing range from her. Same with fellow Canadian Avril Lavigne, American Debbie Gibson.
Suggested video 📹: 1 Shania Twain sings Don't Impress Me Much 2 Avril Lavigne sings I'm with You 3 Prism performs Don't Let Him Know in Solid Gold.

You can train horses to do anything. As far as noise and crowds go, just think about all the wars fought in history of time when horses were used. Talk about noisy and crowded…
