thank you for doing this video and yes there are japanese version of icom radios that cannot be widebanded most of the 700 range is just a case of snipping the D5 diode on the pll board though there are a couple of the 700 range that need a couple of other things done aswell as the D5 diode but i cannot remember which models they are they can be found on various forums on the internet on how to wideband almost All models of icom, yaesu, & kenwood radios once again thank you so much for sharing this video as it is the only one showing how to wideband a 726 my qth is margate in uk and call signs on 27 mhz 26AT101 and 26CY001 maybe when the skips running ill catch you on radio i do work 10 mtr and 20 mtr but due to location at present i cannot work 40 or 80 mtr my antennas will not allow me to tune them that far and i cannot run a longwire and iv only a 12 ft garden lol my amature call is 2E0EMN 73 to you and your family and again thank you for the video chaz
