This was the worst phone I ever had. Constant random problems corrupted, sd cards. Exteamly slow internet. It reset once and didn't come back on for 2 days. Once the SD card was corrupted and the phone wouldn't give me a option t download to internal storage. So I couldn't download anything even though I had space because the SD card could not be found. And when I added a new card, it still said it couldn't find the SD card. Even though it was available in the settings.
in my opinion this phone is absolutly trash it always goes unresponsive to touch and only works after turning it off and back on this started happening abt 4 weeks after i got it
I've had this phone for about a month and, for the most part, I love it. It has a feature set that easily competes with phones costing double or more. Great battery life. Expandable storage out of the box, so plenty of room for apps. But after about 48 hours of operation, it suddenly slows to a crawl and becomes unusable. I've tried several potential fixes, including clearing all app caches, and even a factory reset. Nothing helps, except a quick reboot (press the power button, then tap "reboot"). That takes just seconds, and fixes the problem -- for another day or two. If Coolpad can address this, and push out a fix, they will have a real winner. I hope that happens soon.
Is it possible you got a lemon?have you considered taking back and exchanging for new one? Ive used lgstylo since it came out and time to upgrade...i was seriously considering cool pad so will look back to see if things got better for you ...TY was going to buyin next few days but will holdout to see how you did
@@Graymorg I don't think there's anything wrong with the phone's hardware. It's more likely a software bug. I'm trying a different launcher (Microsoft Launcher) to see if that makes any difference. I'll report back. (I also upgraded from a Stylo 2, and the Coolpad Legacy is *much* faster and more capable -- when it's working properly. Also, I'm using the phone with adoptable storage. I don't know if the problem would occur with the SD card formatted as portable storage (or without any SD card at all).
Unfortunately, the same problem happens with the Microsoft Launcher. Like clockwork, after about 48 hours of uptime, the phone became unresponsive and had to be rebooted. Too bad Coolpad released this phone with this defect. Except for this, it's a great phone.

I tired everything I could think of and I went to get help from web sites I did clearing cache, I had to find it first. How do I take pictures while I'm recording video? My last phone I would start recording and then tap the camera icon and it would take pictures while recording.

None just cast it from the phone to the tv with the cast button. Unless u don't have a Chromecast then yeah you'll need hdmi to usb c connection adapter

I just got mine through Boost Mobile and really loving it already! I love the bigger screen, that and the camera were my main reasons for getting it, the pics come out really nice, clear and nice bold colors, still getting the hang of it but I'd recommend it!!😁

So my alarm on my Coolpad isn't working anymore unless it's set for only hour and forty-five minutes or less away. The difference on the screen is there is a little dismiss icon on the drop down of the alarm set within the hour and forty-five minutes time range and it disappears for any alarm set further out.. but says it's set and when that time comes it doesn't go off?? Any tips or solutions??

I've been using this phone for a year totally recommend ! It doesn't have a crack on it yet, very good has alot of space and has never been slow.

You have to go to Bluetooth setting on your headphones and turn on HD audio

For the multiple window you just need to press the square button for 2 seconds and then pick the second window that you want to have.

U must not realize how the memory cards work on phones. I suggest reading an article or 2. Cause u are in left field with that comment
