I started crying at the first 2 minutes. I lost my dad to COVID in 2020 and my little brother was killed by a drunk driver a feb 2022. It has been hard and I guess all these emotions I felt were painful but the gospel lyrics reminded me that I am not alone and that God is always watching over me and my family. This year has been terrible for me. The worst. But at this moment, negativity wants me to dwell in its space and not be grateful for all that I have and been through to get me here. I have come to this video for the last 2 years. The presence of the holy spirit pours out from this choir and reignites my soul when at times the flame dwindles. I'm not perfect, days I stray, but through Jesus Christ our world, the King of kings, through his gracious blood that was shed for all of us I know I have a place in Heaven. I get what you mean by being a MUSIC lover and hearing a lot of the same... but also, we are white...we didn’t grow up with some of these amazing gospel songs that were in the black church. Honestly I much prefer black gospel. Just hits the soul different. I encourage you to find other artists cuz there is some great stuff out there. I did a 30 day fast earlier this year..no worldly music, just gospel music. I had 6 songs on my “Gospel” playlist when I began. I get what you mean by being a MUSIC lover and hearing a lot of the same... but also, we are white...we didn’t grow up with some of these amazing gospel songs that were in the black church. Honestly I much prefer black gospel. Just hits the soul different. I encourage you to find other artists cuz there is some great stuff out there. Man I’m here 2025 after seeing a short clip come down my Facebook about a plan concert. Came here to watch it again and this gem popped up next. This was amazing.
